Similar Films• One of the main focuses of the Saw film series

are the traps created for their victims. In the movies, the serial murderer, Jigsaw, places individuals into traps for having wasted or misused their lives; each trap serving the purpose of testing the victim's will to live. As such, these devices force subjects into near-death situations where they are typically given the opportunity to either save themselves or die. These traps are referred to as games and the whole concept of this film was very influential to our plot. Similarly to saw, our film centres around the idea of these life and death situations being “games” or as we refer to them as “challenges”. The challenges that our protagonist faces are set up by an antagonist that is clearly twisted, but again similarly to saw is trying to teach the protaginsit a lesson.
