Gabriel the archangel brought hard joy to the Virgin Mary: “Rejoice, most favored, the Lord is with you. If you agree, you will have a baby who is your savior and your God.” What an awe-filled choice. And Mary said yes. Such cooperaon between the Lord and the woman begins the revelaon of the great hidden mystery: the presence of Christ Jesus, Savior and Lord, among us. Celebrang Mary’s choice, give glory to God through the only begoen Son, Jesus. Maranatha! Sunday Missal Readings for next weekend - 31 Dec Gn 15:1-6; 21:1-3 Heb 11:8. 11-12. 1 Lk 2:22-40 PIETA SINGAPORE PIETA is a support group for bereaved parents. At Christmas we are reminded of Jesus' humanity, his frailty and dependence on those around him. We too reflect on these elements of ourselves as we turn to God for peace and hope amidst the Christmas celebraons. We come together as bereaved parents - in prayer, in WORD and in faith. The session, run by bereaved parents, meets monthly to pray, reflect and break open the WORD OF GOD. We invite any parent who has lost a child (regardless of age and no maer how recent or long ago) to unite with us in faith. Our monthly session is on every 4 th Tuesday of the month, 7:30pm to 9:00pm at Agape Village, Toa Payoh Lorong 8, and the next one would be held on Tue 26 December 2017. Our contact details are email: [email protected] and we can also be found on facebook: hps://facebook.com/PietaSingapore PERSONAL MORAL COMPASS COURSE 2018 BY REV FR DAVID GARCIA, OP. I12Katong. To avoid the parking blues, public transport is highly recommended. Inconsiderate parking along Sea Avenue and Chapel Road causes much frustraon and inconvenience to residents. Please spare a thought for our neighbours as we come to celebrate our Feast Day and New Year.
