The Drake Hotel is located downtown on the lake side of Michigan Avenue two blocks north of the John Hancock Center and a block south of Oak Street Beach at the top of the Magnificent Mile. Overlooking Lake Michigan, it was founded in 1920, designed in the Italian Renaissance style by the firm of Marshall and Fox, and soon became one of Chicago's landmark hotels, a longtime rival of the Palmer House.
The Drake Hotel is one of more than 260 hotels and resorts throughout the country that is recognized by Historic Hotels of America for preserving and maintaining its historic integrity, architecture, and ambiance.
The PCMI group rate is $209 US per night, for single or double rooms.

Travel Information You can fly into O’Hare International Airport or Midway International Airport. Most of the major international carriers fly into O'Hare.
Taxis are readily available from both airports. The average taxi fare to The Drake will cost between $40 - $50.
You can also take a Shuttle to The Drake. Shuttle reservations can be made in advance, but are not required. Shuttle vans depart approximately every 10-15 minutes in front of the baggage claim areas at both airports.
The Drake Hotel is also accessible by public transportation system via the Chicago Transit Authority.

some of Chicago's most famous attractions, including the Museum of Science and Technology, Wrigley field, home of the Chicago Cubs, the 2016 World Series Champions, plus lunch at Navy Pier, and the famous architecture cruise down the Chicago River.
Museum of Science and TechnologyThe Chicago Museum of Science and Industry (MSI) is the largest science museum in the Western Hemisphere. It is home to more than 35,000 artifacts and hundreds of exhibits.
Wrigley FieldThe PCMI group will enjoy a VIP exclusive tour with a personal tour guide and go behind-the-scenes of the legendary home of the Chicago Cubs baseball team who are World Series champions.
Harry Caray’s TavernLocated near the main entrance to Navy Pier, Harry Caray’s Tavern’s waterfront location, family friendly menu and world-class collection of sports memorabilia combine to create the ultimate Chicago dining experience.
Chicago River TourOn this 75-minute cruise down the Chicago River you will see the city's famous architecture. With commentary from your onboard guide, you will watch the spectacular skyline glide by, including more than 40 notable buildings.
Networking Dinners On Monday evening, May 15th, PCMI will hold its annual banquet at the Parkside Room at the Drake Hotel.
On Tuesday evening, May 16th, PCMI will travel to Spiaggia Upscale Italian Restaurant for the group dinner.

Lunch & Brewery Tour & Tasting
On Wednesday, May 17th, PCMI attendees will tour Fotofab.
Fotofab provides a wide range of high precision metal fabricating services to produce components with geometries from simple to very complex.
After the tours, PCMI attendees will enjoy Chicago's famous deep dish pizza at Giordano's .
After lunch, attendees will travel to Revolution Brewing for a private tour and beer tasting.
The group will return to the Drake Hotel by 4:00 pm.
