WMOF A week-long international event of prayer,

catechesis, and celebration that draws global participation.

Seeks to strengthen bonds between families and to witness to the crucial importance of marriage and the family to all of society.

Consists of a Theological Adult Congress and Youth Congress, followed by The Festival of Families and the Papal Mass.

The Festival of Families/Papal Mass Saturday night: A celebration for

families including different types of cultural and musical performances, attended by the Holy Father.

Sunday (time TBA): Pope Francis will celebrate Mass on Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Expected attendance: approx. 1 million

Our Mission Join thousands of others in celebrating

families and welcoming Pope Francis. Expose CSB/SJU students to enormity

and diversity of Catholic population. Provide students a rich experience of

Catholic worship, thought, and history. Visit important sites in American and

American Catholic history.
