Scaffold has to fulfil a diverse set of requirements:

- creation of safe and productive working areas

- providing access to working areas at higher levels

- carrying area and/or point loads

In order to find the optimal solution for each one of these tasks, this normally requires a large selection of components which in turn is re- flected in the low rate of utilisation.

The type-tested PERI UP modular scaffolding system with integra-ted safety features allows the same components to be used as shoring, stair towers, reinforce-ment scaffold or working plat-forms. In addition, numerous other applications are possible, e.g. as suspended scaffold.

This means that on-site material requirements are automatically reduced and utilisation rates increase.

With PERI UP, construction progress can be carried out extremely effici-ently and safety levels for site per-sonnel rise considerably.

The number of parts which are to be stored, moved on site and trans-ported is decisive for ensuring effici-ent completion of scaffolding tasks as well as operational cost-effective-ness. In addition, a small range of components results in a lowering of the investment costs and utilization rates are increased.

With the PERI UP modular scaf-fold system, only a few com- ponents are required in order to economically realize an extremely diverse range of on-site scaffold operations.

PERI UP RosettLight – load-bearing – flexible – safe

The metric grid dimensionsof PERI UP allows optimal adjustment of the scaffold assembly. Thus, a 3 m bay can be divided, for example, into 2 x 1.50 m or 4 x 0.75 m within the system itself according to requirements.

Cost-effective and safe working conditions are the culmination of many well thought-out details. A perfect solution was developed in the form of PERI UP Rosett modular scaffold.

PERI UP Rosett ShoringType-tested load-bearing capacity

Through systematised construc-tion progress and repetitive wor-king steps, costs can be reduced along with facilitating an increase in the quality of the execution.

PERI UP Rosett shoring towers have been type-tested by the State of Bavaria commercial office (Landes-gewerbeanstalt Bayern) for heights of up 21.89 metres. Use on the construction site is therefore very easy: project-specific static verifica-tion for the towers are no longer required and prepared parts lists are available for all heights.

Through base widths of 1.50 m to 3.00 m, square or rectangular tower ground plans are possible in 50 cm increments. This means cost-effec-tive bearing capacity and geometrical adjustments can be achieved. Thus, up to 10 different towers can be realized for a broad range of applica-tions in the form of shoring, slab tables or material platforms.

Even for large heights, loads up to 40 kN per leg can be safely car-ried!

With only few different individual parts every shoring structure can be quickly assembled. From the extensive programme of accesso-ries, decking levels for transporting materials as well as access stairs can be integrated.

The modular structure of UP Rosett allows opti-mal adjustment of leg load-bearing capacities. In 50 cm increments, up to 10 different towers for various applications are possible.

Every height without exception between 1.33 m and 21.89 m can be reached. Accurate parts lists are available for all scaffold structures.

For each height, a permissible leg load of 40.3 kN applies. Horizontal loads can also be transferred by means of standard diagonals.

11 m high shoring for a concrete ring with 50 m diameter.

Up to 38 m high PERI UP shoring perfectly matched to the MULTIFLEX girder slab formwork.

14 m high PERI UP birdcage shoring as load-bearing sub-structure for MULTIFLEX girder slab formwork. Safe and fast access to the higher working levels was provided by PERI UP stair towers.

PERI UP shoring with standard dimen-sions of 1.50 m x 1.50 m provide generously-sized working spaces and access areas underneath the integra-ted work platforms.

The 72 m long beams of an airport check-in terminal were formed using movable table units.

The high rigidity of the ledger con-nections maintains the form of even very large PERI UP scaffold units when being moved by crane or on castors. All standards are tension-proof connected to each other.

Thus, complete scaffold units can be pre-assembled safely and quickly on the ground and then joined together to form larger shoring structures.

Extremely stable units are deliv-ered to the construction site which do not need anchors or bal-last and can be moved and reposi-tioned without any modifications.

Erection instructions are provided for the reinforcement scaffolding and contains all safety-relevant guide-lines including the crane attachment points.

The heights required have already been taken into consideration with the configuration of the scaffolding units during formwork planning.

Application possibilities:- placing of formwork ties- closing the formwork- reinforcement work- concreting

Even after only a few uses, more than just the costs of approved scaffolding equipment can be gen-erated.

For the shuttering, reinforcement and concrete work required on the 14 m high reinforced concrete columns, customised PERI UP scaffold units were efficiently used. Complete scaf-fold units can be moved in a crane lift.

PERI UP Rosett stair towerDue to the kit principle, quan-tities of required materials can quickly be determined and easily ordered.

Stair towers with alterna-ting staircase units

provide greater headroom clearance and shorter routes between levels.

PERI UP Rosett stair towers can be used as freestanding towers or attached to the outside of a working scaffold for heights of up to 90 m.

Simple and fast assembly with only three additional components

- staircase unit

- stair guardrail

- landing link panel

which also extends the area of appli-cation for the scaffolding. The stair-case unit only weighs 24 kg and, in spite of its low weight, has been approved to carry the high load of 2 kN/m²

Thus, using the stair tower for accessing construction sites is pos-sible. The complete staircase tower has proof of stability and designed to carry a maximum live load equiva-lent for a 20 m run of staircase and landing irrespective of height.

Ledgers are used as guardrails and for bracing the tower. Diagonals are not required.

Anchoring of stair towers with staircase units in the same direction

For higher stair towers, the tension-proof anchoring to the building takes place every 4 m in the lower area up to a height of 12 m, after this every 8 m. Staircase towers should not be extended more than 2.00 m beyond the last anchor position.

The PERI UP work platforms provide secures and productive working conditions on walls and slabs – at all heights.

Longitudinal and width adjustments are possible in 50 cm increments.

Erection instructions, included with each tower, provide all the necessary information for safe assembly and use.

The standards are joined to each other by means of tension-proof connections connections which means complete platform units can be moved by crane.

The kit principle allows easy and simple extensions to be made to the required levels. In addition, quantities of materials can quickly be determined and ordered.

Work platforms with decks on every level

allow work to be carried out on a wall for the full height as well as the slab.

Mobile PERI UP work platforms are quickly created by means of castors. The large diameter of the castors, and the use of castors with spindle, means that any possible unevenness on the ground can be compensated during moving and when the tower is in a stationary position.

Compared to aluminium mobile towers, the PERI UP work plat-forms offers several advantages:
