Why should we care about it?

T1DM is the most frequent rare pathology 84 new cases per million of people every year 438 millions of diabetic in 2030 in the world

In Italy, diabetes is the 8% of the global medical expense. A single person can cost from €800 to €3700 per year, with an average of €3384, and we have250K diabetic children (0 – 14) that cost around 1billion per year
