If my character was 24 years old and a teacher these are the actresses I’d use:

Keeley Hawes:Why:• Looks how I imagine my

character to look like• Played a character like this

before (in Ashes to Ashes)• Really good actress• She looks like she could be a

teacher• Seeing as she had to be quite

firm as D.I.Drake in Ashes to Ashes, she’d be really good at being a teacher

Why Not:• She’s a bit older than my

Dakota Johnson:Why:• Looks the part• Around the age of my

character (25)• She has been in many other

films that were different Genres

Why not:• She’s American• She’s older (even if it’s by

one year)• Even though I’ve not really

seen any of her films I’m not sure if she’s an actress who could actually get into the role

Anna PopplewellWhy:• She’s British• Looks how I’d imagine my character• She’s close to the age of my

character, if she was a teacher

(she’s 26)• She’s well known• She’s a good actress• Popplewell is good at acting as a strict

character, for example, Susan from The Chronicles of Narnia. She can act older than she actually is and is good at making her characters seem older than they actually are.

Why not:• She’s slightly older

than the character, but that’s alright

• She’s not learnt about Psychology

If she was 17 and a Psychology student I would choose:

Why:• She looks the part• She’s around the age of the

character (if she was 17)• She’s been lots of different

characters• Seems to be good at acting
