We are Passageway Scholarship Foundation. We are Rite of Passage employees, community supporters and business people. We are members of philanthropic organizations and school advisory boards. Many of us work within the juvenile justice system. Some of us are parents, siblings, aunts or uncles of at-risk youth. A few of us were Rite of Passage students. Although our experiences and backgrounds vary, we share a common set of beliefs. We believe all young people should have the opportunity to enroll in postsecondary education. We think investing in youth is a wise financial decision. We believe that with the right support and guidance, all children are capable of learning and achieving their goals. We believe in the power of education to change a life, a family and a community. We know Rite of Passage youth are capable not only of contributing to society, but of changing it for the better. We believe that talent and potential, if leſt unidentified and undeveloped, is a loss for all of us. Our mission: Providing ROP students who have the desire to succeed, the means to do so. 2013 Annual Performance
Report
I believe in the vision of the program. In working at ROP for 11 years, I’ve been able to see the obstacles students face in trying to better themselves. By giving, I’m hoping to make a contribution and a positive change in someone’s life.
Dr. Gerald GlennDentist, Ridge View AcademyDenver, CO
Providing a Passageway scholarship is an endorsement to the student that we have confidence in their talent, ability and diligence. We are blessed to have the opportunity to provide a scholarship which is a measure of continued support and confidence for a young man or woman.

I give to Passageway because our students are amazing people. Once they are locked in on a goal, they are as strong and resilient as anyone. All they need is an opportunity.
Passageway is the best scholarship program that I know.

I value education and want to give back to express my gratitude to the many people who supported me along the way in my educational plans.
Pat KirkCommunity Advisory Board Member, Ridge View Academy Golden, CO
I give to Passageway because ROP’s mission reaches far beyond the boundaries of each campus. The ripple effect of our students’ continued success can impact
communities globally. We never know where their life’s journeys will take them and the difference they will make in the lives of others. I am pleased to have the opportunity to contribute.
