THE CHALLENGE: ASSET LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT

The Department of Housing and Public Works:

“Improve the Queensland Government’s understanding

of multi-agency asset data, enhance its modelling and

predictive analysis capability and drive improved whole

of government decision making for asset maintenance

planning and procurement.”

THE CHALLENGE: FLEXIBLE, SUSTAINABLE AND COST EFFICIENT SPORT VENUE LIGHTING

The Department of National Parks, Sport and Racing:

“Identify flexible, sustainable and cost efficient next generation

lighting solutions for community field-based sports venues and

provide guidance of the circumstances in which it is most

appropriate to use these solutions.”

THE CHALLENGE: REEF WATER QUALITY MONITORING

The Department of Environment and Heritage Protection:

“Develop and supply affordable fine scale water quality

monitoring sensors to deploy in Great Barrier Reef

catchments, in order to inform improvements in

farming practices and continue protecting the Reef.”

TESTING WITHIN GOVERNMENT (TWiG) PROGRAM

What is it? A 12 week program for SMEs to work in partnership with DSITI.

Why? TWiG is designed to:• Accelerate the growth and capability of SMEs in QLD• Provide valuable experience to SMEs in how to

deliver products to large enterprises• Encourage DSITI to work with SMEs to become more

agile and innovative when solving problems.
