“The best part of the Executive
MBA is that I am learning
with a global perspective!
The programme has pushed
me out of my comfort zone.
I’ve learned how economics
work, and how you can make
statistics relevant. I’m being
pulled out of the medical
bubble. I now understand
how money works in an
organisation such as a hospital.
It’s really opened up my world.”

The RSM Executive MBA, your gateway to the future
Our Executive MBA (EMBA) accelerates your professional and personal
development. You will be challenged to re-assess yourself as a leader, embrace
new concepts, ideas and approaches, and build the deeper understanding and
effective leadership competences to take your career to the next level.
Over 22 months you will examine the bigger
picture: the megatrends shaping global business;
the ideas, concepts and strategies that drive
change and the leadership attitudes that align,
inspire and empower others. You will gain and
put new skills and aptitudes to the test with in-
company project work. You will experience how
business is done overseas. And you will build
an international network of peers and faculty –
business leaders and thinkers – to support and
empower you as you transition to the next stage
of leadership.
And because we understand that your professional
and personal commitments take priority, the RSM
Executive MBA is offered in a convenient format.
Your life never stops and neither does your
learning.

Career impact and supportImproved performance, greater impact, solid contribution. A future opening up
before you. The RSM Executive MBA delivers benefits that last a career, and a
network that lasts a lifetime.
One-to-one advice from experienced coaching
professionals. Exploring your past experience and
reflecting on your skills, goals and dreams, we
will guide you through the changes you want to
make. We advise you on how to improve and make
use of your and our network, both socially and
professionally, to support you in making the most of
your talents and competences.
In-company projectApply new concepts and critically assess business
models. The six-month in-company project takes
place between March and August of the second year.
You focus on a real, concrete management
challenge within your own organisation, showcasing
new abilities to identify the challenge, draw clear
conclusions and make solid decisions.
A global corporate networkThe intensity of the EMBA experience cultivates strong
bonds and lifelong networks. New connections will
also be formed with executives from the companies
that support RSM in multiple endeavours and events.
By the time you graduate from the programme,
you will know people from diverse cultures in many
sectors, industries and continents.
A worldwide alumni networkUpon graduation from the programme, you will
join RSM’s alumni network, which includes alumni
from all of RSM's degree and diploma programmes,
consisting of more than 36,000 professionals across
more than 100 countries. Class reunions, local
chapters, discussion panels, conferences and social
events offer you continued access to an increasingly
international corporate network, and lifelong learning
and professional development opportunities.
Bring renewed energy, the latest strategic ideas and cutting-edge knowledge
into your role, and inspire others within your organisation. Deliver direct
and tangible impact through your in-company project. The Executive MBA
connects your company to a world of insight and expertise – as well as
experts, institutes and other organisations across the globe.
Building loyaltyAbout 30 per cent of our current EMBA participants receive
some form of company sponsorship. In return for financial
sponsorship, participants usually agree to stay with their
companies for a specific period of time. Most sponsored
participants sign loyalty agreements lasting between one and
four years after completion of the programme. We find that
most companies feel they have received a full return on their
investment within six months of the programme beginning,
thanks to improved performance and expanded networks.
Investing in talentCompanies also lend support by providing participants with
scope to apply new ideas within. While our schedule is designed
to minimise time away from the office, an important resource
a company can offer an EMBA participant is time. Financing
tuition fees and expenses could be tax deductible.
