ADD GASOLINE
• Fill fuel tank. Use fresh, clean, regularunleaded gasoline with a minimum of87 octane. (Use of leaded gasolinewill increase carbon and lead oxidedeposits and reduce valve life). Donot mix oil with gasoline. Purchasefuel in quantities that can be usedwithin30 days to assure fuel fresh-ness.
IMPORTANT: When operating intemperatures below 32°F(0°C), usefresh, clean winter grade gasoline tohelp insure good cold weather starting._WARNING: Experience indicatesthatalcohol blended fuels (called gasohol orusingethanol or methanol) can attractmoisture which leads to separation andformation of acids duringstorage. Acidicgas can damage the fuel system of anengine while in storage. To avoid engineproblems, the fuel system should beemptied before storage of 30 days orlonger. Drain the gas tank, starttheengine and let it run until the fuel linesand carburetorare empty. Use fresh rue{next season. See Storage Instruc_tonsfor additional information. Never useengine or carburetorcteaner products inthe fuel tank or permanent damage may

ENGINEFUEL SYSTEMIMPORTANT: It is important to preventgum deposifes from forming in essentialfuel system parts such as carburetor, fuel hose, or tank duringstorage. Also, experience indicates that alcohol
bieoded fuels (called gasohel or usingethan(>)or methanol) can attractmo)sturawhich leads to separation and formationof acids duringstorage. Acidic gas candamage the fuel system of and enginewhile in storage.1. Drain the fuel tank.2. Start the engine and let it run untilthe
fuel lines and carburetorare empty.• Never use engine or carburetor
cleaner productsin the fuel tank orpermanent damage may occur.
• L_se_resh fuel next season.NOTE: Fuel stabilizer is an acceptablealternative in minimizing the formation offuel gum deposits duringstorage. Addstabitlzerto gasoline in fuel tank orstorage container, Always follow the mixratio found on stabilizer container. Runengine at least 10 minutes after addingstabilizer to allow the stabilizer to reachthe carburetor. Do not drain the gas tankand carburetor if using fuel stabilizer.
