CAP-TB Strategy for FY14

• Evaluate implementation to date (FY12-FY13)

• Identify successful strategies to continue and potentially scale up

• Review current literature for recent evidence on potential innovations, etc., that can be piloted through the project

1. Myanmar Medical Association (MMA)

• Follow up trained general practitioners (GPs) on standard

treatment of TB and diagnosis of MDR-TB and infection

control in the 18 townships

• Continue DOTS to MDR-TB patients, manage minor adverse

events, and refer cases to medical facilities using community

supporters
