ระบบสารสนเทศ

• Information System

– ระบบที่มีการนําเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ (Information Technology) มาใช้

เพื่อสนับสนุนกระบวนการทํางานบางอย่างของมนุษย์

– ใช้เทคโนโลยีเป็น เครื่องมือ เพื่อให้ข้อมูล (Deliver information) และ

สนับสนุนกระบวนการทํางาน (business processes) ให้กับ ผู้ใช้งาน

(users) ในการทํางานหนึ่งๆ

– เช่น ระบบการฝาก-ถอนเงินผ่านเคาน์เตอร์ธนาคาร ระบบการลงทะเบียน

เรียนผ่านเว็บ ระบบ e-learning ระบบจองตั๋วเครื่องบิน ระบบแสดงตาราง

เที่ยวบิน เป็นต้น
