Since we had an early service on Sunday, I was able to go down to Omaha and surprise Trey and Ruth. I think it made him a little nervous that I was there, but he did a great job preaching anyway. I am so proud of the good work they are doing at Omaha. The congregation there seems to love God and His Word and certainly are trying to live according to the teachings of Christ. I also know of many of your who were able to spend time with other brethren and families on Sunday afternoon and evening. It is always encouraging to see brethren who desire to “dwell together in Unity!” It is truly a blessing to be in the Body of Christ and to have one another’s fellowship and companionship. Thanks be to our God for such blessings! Last weekend was great. We had a good time at the Koontz house on Friday night. The youth seemed to have a lot of fun at the function and several stayed over for the all-night sleep over. I made it until about 1:30 and then went down for the count. It is so much fun to be with our beloved brethren and to spend such time of fellowship. On Saturday night, the college age and younger adults came over to our house for a get together. They all dressed up in costumes and carved pumpkins. Everyone seemed to have a great time. We have a great group of young adults at our congregation. We are truly blessed! Brethren, let me encourage us all to be active and involved in all aspects of the Lord’s Work. As Christians we continually have the privilege of worshiping God, fellowshipping with one another, growing in God’s Word, and in sharing our faith and God’s message with a lost and dying world. It is a beautiful thing to be a Christian and to be in the family of God! Well I look forward to seeing you tonight for our mid-week service. ELDERS’ CORNER:
A special word of thanks to the congregation for
helping fill the pantry during the month of
October. We had a great response and are
prepared now to help people in need of food and
clothing. We should have enough now to make it
through the close of this year. Again, thank you
for your positive response.
Last Sunday, through your loving gifts, we were
able to raise $2300 dollars to help with the on-
going expenses that our sister Maegan Sanders is
having due to her health. Continue to remember
Maegan in a special way with cards and in your
prayers. Continue to remember Donna Rothermel
in your daily prayers.
K.C. Hamrick is presently at the Center for
Cognitive Disorders in Osage Beach. He is making
good progress in his treatment and hopes to be
back with us soon. He says that he loves us all and
please remember him in your prayers. His address
and phone number and times he can be reached
by phone are:
Keith (K.C.) Hamerick
840 Passover Road Osage Beach, MO 65065.
Phone: 573-302-0319 The code to speak to him
is "BLUE."
He can receive calls between the hours of:
10 a.m.-11a.m. and 7:30 p.m.-9 p.m.
Marilyn Dalton is improving and hopes to be at our
Sunday morning service.
Let us know what you think about the afternoon
service on Sunday's being at 1:30.
Our love to all. See you soon, the Lord willing.

Thanks so much for the surprise birthday Party. I

to Julie Medley for the beautiful flower
arrangement and Marcella for all the decorations
and the pictures that were printed for me. The
cake was lovely; I loved and appreciated it all.
Thank you to all those who helped in any way to
make this birthday a very special day.
Love you all, Erma Folsom ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
