Yesterday I just went outside and sat for a few minutes and even decided to grill some food for supper, because the weather was so beautiful. As we look at the wonder of God’s Creation, I am ever reminded about the awesome God we serve. We certainly have a lot to be thankful for as God’s chosen! We had a great Lord’s day this past Sunday. It was full of worship, fellowship and other opportunities to serve God. The Agape meal was enjoyable and encouraging. I am also very thankful for our youth as they went out and visited with shut-ins, during the afternoon. We have such good teenagers who love God and who are willing to encourage others. I think we all could learn a lot about service from the beauty and innocence of our children. I also wanted to thank Cory for speaking for us Sunday evening. He did a great job and is going to have a wonderful work with the Bona Church of Christ. I am so excited for him and the congregation there. I also wanted to thank out teenage young men who lead in worship on Sunday evening. They did a great job, as always, and they are really showing continued growth in their abilities and willingness to take up leadership roles in their services to God. Last weekend was an enjoyable one for me. It was my pleasure and a great blessing to join sister Darlene to her new husband, Morton Osborn. Although they are both 82 years old, they have been blessed to find love again after both having experienced the loss of their beloved partners to death. I am so happy for them and was excited to see their joy and love for one another. Let’s all pray for their happiness as well as their health, as they both still struggle with a variety of health issues. Also a big “great job” to Angela, who organized, decorated and made most of the arrangements for the wedding. We are blessed to have Angela as a part of our family here at K.E. Well, I will miss being with you all tonight, as I will be in Lincoln, Missouri, wrapping up the School Lectureship we have had there this week. I look forward to our all being together this coming Lord’s day as we gather to worship our God. Make sure to prepare yourself and be ready to give God your best. Until then, always put God first in all things and you’ll never regret it. God bless! *Ray Sullins*
