‘With an experienced team of Master Mariners, Naval Architects, Marine, Electrical and Structural Engineers our ‘assurance and consulting’ service capabilities are extensive’

‘By adopting a proactive approach to MWS, MAC aims to add value to projects, working closely with clients and subcontractors to achieve successful completion of the scope while minimising risks’

An Extensive Range of Services

With an experienced team of Master Mariners, Naval Architects, Marine, Electrical and Structural Engineers our ‘assurance and consulting’ service capabilities are extensive.

Our desire is to be part of the life cycle of a marine asset from the concept stage of a new build through to detailed design, providing services during the project, manufacturing and shipyard phases and supporting clients during the asset’s operation, maintenance, conversion and life extension. We can provide a call-out service seven days-a-week.

Our services fall into six main areas:

Dynamic Positioning ‘Assurance & Consulting’

With a multidisciplinary team of technical and operational experts, MAC provides DP-related services to support our clients to select, integrate, operate and verify according to their specific vessel application.

Whether identifying the safest operational mode or verifying the worst case failure mode through FME(C)A or proving an installation through FMEA or annual DP trials, MAC provides clients with effective recommendations to enhance safe operability at all times.

Through our experience with our DP FME(C)A work and extensive systems knowledge, we also provide analysis and solutions to allow our clients to operate their vessels in the most cost-effective/commercially viable way. This can include analysis on potential upgrade or conversion work and mission equipment system interface/integration analysis.

Marine Warranty Surveying

MAC offers Marine Warranty Surveying (MWS) and third-party verification services on a vast range of marine, offshore and renewables projects.
