OUR SERVICE COMMITMENTWELCOME TO THE INDUSTRY TR AINING AUTHORIT Y. YOUR TICKE T TO THE SKILLED TR ADES IN BC .
At the Industry Training Authority (ITA), we build
the trades that build BC. Working on behalf of the
provincial government, we issue credentials, manage
apprenticeships, set program standards and are
continuously working towards increasing opportunities
in the skilled trades for British Columbians.
If you are looking to become an apprentice, wanting to be an employer sponsor or simply wishing to learn more about the apprenticeship system, we are here to assist you.
Our goal is to provide you with easy to access information, personalized to your needs. Our in-house Customer Support team is here to assist you on the phone, through email, or in-person. We have Apprenticeship Advisors located across the province who can meet directly with you, some of whom have expertise supporting Aboriginal communities. As well, we have Managers of Industry Relations working to refine our programs to best meet the needs of industry.
We are collectively here to provide you with the tools and direction you need to navigate our provincial skilled trades system. You can expect efficient, timely, and personalized service from every member of ITA.
ITA works in partnership with the provincial government and other levels of government to deliver on recommendations outlined in B.C.’s Skills for Jobs Blueprint and the McDonald Report to continuously improve the apprenticeship system, and find new innovative ways to serve you better.
