Our Club was proposed…
in Naenae 1961 by
Rotary Club of Hutt City (1943 – present)
Charter Night 26 July 1962

In 1965 we changed our name
to Rotary Club of Eastern Hutt
In 1973-74 we moved from the Philips Cafeteria in Naenae
to the Avalon Pavilion
In 1974 we sponsored
the Rotary Club of Stokes Valley
In 1993 we sponsored
the Rotary Club of Hutt Valley
That’s our Rotary heritage!
