A- YES. You will need it for Journal responses, quizzes, and other assignments.

Q- Can I use older editions?

A- No. The new edition has updated research, new information, and new examples.

Q- If I buy the print version, do I have to use the eText?

A- It is up to you. Both versions work, as long as you

have the 5th edition.

Assignments are all Asynchronous

This means that there are no specific times when you are required to log in or meet as a class.

HOWEVER – there are due dates for all assignments.

• Expect to spend 3-9 hours per week completing assignments.

• Remember assignments count as class meetings AND homework!

Is Late Work Accepted?

YES• You have a 5-day grace

period (until Friday of that week) without penalty.

• After that, late work may be submitted for ½ credit. It will be accepted any time during the semester.

May be taken unlimited times until the due date.

Computer records highest score.

All Quizzes and Exams are administered ONLINE.

About Event Reports

You are required to attend FOUR live arts events during the semester.

4 Live Events:– 1 Art Museum

or Gallery

– 1 Play

– 1 Dance Concert

– 1 Music Concert

Must attend 4 Events to earn an “A” in the class

• You decide which art form to focus on

BUT

You can only count the same event ONCE.

Grades: Total Points = 1000 Assignments To Earn an A:

To Earn a B:– Submit Creative Culmination – Total points 800-899

To Earn a C:– Total points 700-799
