• When they reach full term they crawl out of the mud almost like maggots.

• In other theories, it is said the reproduce sexually.

They prefer dark places, such as Moria.Orcs are portrayed often as soldiers & henchman by the villains in the lord of the lord of the rings.In the book Tolkien suggested that men were crossbred with Orcs under Morgo lieutenant Sauron.

elves. How they got they way they are now in the book is that they were tortured & that torture corrupted them & turned them into what they are now known as Orcs.

as animals that were in some sort of human form. They were than empowered by the will of the Dark Lord (first Morgoth later Sauron). This theory would explain the references to their beaks and feathers in Tolkien’s writing.
