Alone in the wilderness, she encounters an angel and receives direction and hope for herself and her unborn child, Ishmael! In her darkest hour, she meets and names God “El-roi” —the God who sees! Let’s remember Hagar, a strong mother in faith, who reminds us that God sees us in our troubles and acts for justice!
