• a book gets cataloged by many libraries (e.g.. if they don’t like to buy data)

New Business Models needed!


Ideas for a alternative business model

• charging for services, not for content

• scanning on demand of TOC

• data curation (e.g.. for repositories)

• improvement of “old data” (mapping)


The License isthe key question














• Reuse possible without problems

• as part or as the whole

• the biggest reuse = biggest outcome
