We request reference to the meeting held on 16th February 2020 with your kind self and Bhanu madam. We hadcommitted to start the Aptitude training sessions immediately after the Technical training. However due to the pandemic,we could not complete the entire training on technical skills. Since the recruiters have already given guidance on startingthe hiring process by the second week of September, it is very important that we train the students in Aptitude andTechnical skills and make them placement ready.
As instructed by you, we will start the aptitude training for the batch of 2021 from Wednesday, the 22nd of July 2020. Wewill be sharing the complete details and instructions to the students over mail by tomorrow afternoon.
In the present circumstances, we have commenced online training classes for various colleges and Universities from themonth of June 2020. We have already finished the online training for colleges such as BNM Institute of Technology andKLS Gogte Institute of Technology for the 2021 batch. The training for other institutions such as PES University, ChristUniversity, Presidency University, Alliance University, Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering, GSSS Institute ofEngineering, IFIM College, etc. among others is already ongoing.
In order to ensure the success of online training we have improvised on our delivery to ensure effectiveness ofthe new medium. Some of the key initiatives are listed as under:
1. We are conducting sessions for only 3 hours a day per batch. We are also ensuring the students turn on theirvideo at all times during the training.
2. All our trainers have undergone sessions on online training. The sessions covered each and every aspect oftraining such as voice modulation, content, delivery, effectiveness, etc.
3. Along with the trainer, a supervisor is also nominated during training sessions to observe thebehaviour/response of the students for their attentiveness.
4. Students are constantly encouraged to ask questions during the sessions either by the way of speaking orposting their questions in the chat box. We are also monitoring the participation of the students in solvingproblems during aptitude sessions.
5. During technical training sessions, students are made to share their screens while coding their programs forthe trainer to monitor the participation of the students. After the students execute a code, they are required totake a screenshot and share it with the trainer via chat.
6. Periodic assessments are conducted to monitor the performance of the students. The reports are shared withthe Principal, HODs, Training and Placement Head and the Departmental Placement Coordinators.
With the above SOPs in place, we assure you that the quality of delivery will be very effective.
As instructed by you, we will commence the aptitude training with 3 batches and the training for the 4th batch can becommenced at a later date. We also request you to plan and give us the tentative dates for the remaining 5 days oftechnical training in the month of August - post the completion of Aptitude training.
I have attached the copy of the proposal and MOU which was shared during the meeting held on 16th February 2020 foryour kind reference. The proforma invoice for the Aptitude training program is also attached herewith.
Please feel free to contact me for any clarifications on the same.
FYI : 3 batch details which we started last week, one batch was writing summer exams. Summer exams were completednow, so general apti started for them also. Kindly find the details below.
