INSTRUCTIONS DURING COLLECTION OF SCRAP AFTER APPROVED BID (Any vehicle which is assigned for collection of scrap from our plant should full fill the following terms and conditions otherwise vehicle entry will be restricted.) 1. Driver should have valid license with vehicles valid documents. 2. Vehicles reverse horn should be in working condition. 3. Back light should be in working condition. 4. All side indicators should be in working condition 5. It should have both rear view mirrors. 6. Its wiper should be in working condition. 7. Driver must use seat belt. 8. Vehicle should be equipped with fire extinguisher. All the labors who will be assigned for scrap loading must have Work Men Compensation Policy ( insurance), Medical Fitness Certificate, safety training to be attended at plant , and should have proper (PPE) Personal protective equipment. (Scrap loading time 8 am to 4 pm). SAFETY CLAUSE: It is the Buyer’s responsibility to ensure that their personnel entering Ambuja Cements Limited, Dist:

Surat, Gujarat factory premises for inspection, collection & lifting of Scrap Materials etc., should be protected properly

against any accident, that they are using Personal Protective Equipments as may be necessary for their safety, that they are

following safety policy and regulations as per ACL stipulations and other statutory regulations and that they have "ESI /

Insurance coverage". ACL will not be held responsible for any accident during lifting of material by Buyers in the factory

premises . (Annexure)

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THE ONLINE AUCTION

DEFINITIONS:

SELLER: Seller referred in this catalog is Ambuja Cements Ltd. SERVICE PROVIDER: SteelEZ Pvt. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “SteelEZ”) is an e-commerce service provider appointed by

the seller to facilitate virtual auction by them. SteelEZ will only facilitate online auction and is considered as third party not particularly interested in the item(s) being sold on behalf of seller.

BIDDER: Any person - as an individual OR a proprietor OR a partner OR an authorized representative of any company OR any legal entity and who is paying the requisite EMD and is registered at SteelEZ and who makes or places a bid for and purchases the auction property either in part or in full is considered as a bidder. One individual can represent as a bidder on his own behalf and on behalf of other companies provided he registers himself in those capacity separately i.e. for each representation he should pay separate Earnest Money Deposit. Successful Bidder is that Bidder in whose name confirmation of sale is issued by the seller.

1.0 GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1.1 Subject to the reserve price, if any, fixed by the SELLER and subject to the terms and conditions set out herein, sale shall be made to the HIGHEST BIDDER on “AS IS WHERE IS BASIS” and “NO COMPLAINT BASIS.” The Seller does not undertake any responsibility to procure any permission/license etc., in respect of the auction property offered for sale.

1.2 SELLER reserves the right to modify and amend the terms & conditions and announce the same at any time before the

entire auction concludes. Announcements made before or during the auction on website or in the auction room and changes made

in the catalogue, including start price, bid increment/decrement, extension of time for lots where bids are received or not and any

other additional conditions OR correction in the catalogue and/or additions or deletions of items being offered for sale, and/or

postponement/preponement of auction dates, are being done with the consent and knowledge of the seller and those would be

binding on the bidder. Bidders are advised in their own interest not to leave the auction room till the entire auction is closed.

1.3 Bidders are advised in their own interest not to leave the auction room till the entire auction is concluded. Participation and bidding in this auction shall be treated as conclusive evidence of the fact that the bidder, has inspected the materials and the documents pertaining to it and is satisfied in all respects regarding quantity, quality, condition of the auction property, taxes & duties, and other extraneous factors and the Principle of Caveat Emptor (let the buyer beware) will apply. Final decision regarding participation will be with the Seller. It shall also imply that the bidder has carefully gone through and understood the terms and conditions of Auction including the amendments if any, prevailing at the time of Auction. Seller/SteelEZ will not entertain any complaints or objections once Bid is placed. Bidders who have been previously blacklisted by Ambuja Cements Ltd. are not allowed to participate and hence need not submit any documents for the auction

1.4 Seller/SteelEZ does not give warranty or guarantee of the quality, quantity, measurement, condition, chemical composition of each individual item(s) or lot(s) that form the auction property and about its “End Use” or fitness for a particular purpose.

1.5 The highest bidder does not get any right to demand acceptance of his offer. SELLER reserves the right to accept/reject/cancel any bid, withdraw any portion of the Auction Property at any stage from Auction even after acceptance of bid/issue of delivery order, or release order/deposit of full value by successful bidder without assigning any reason thereof. In the event of such rejection/cancellation/withdrawal, SELLER shall refund the value of Auction Property, if paid for, to the successful bidder. SELLER shall not be responsible for any damages/loss whatsoever to the successful bidder on account of such withdrawal.

1.6 EMD amount will not carry interest. 1.7 In the event of failure on the part of the successful bidder to fulfill his contractual obligations, Seller/SteelEZ reserves the

right to debar such bidder from participating in any future auctions conducted by SteelEZ on behalf of seller.

1. SteelEZ runs its business on the basis of a robust Web Site. SteelEZ is outsourcing server space from a third party hosting

company and hence shall ensure the smooth running in all good faith and intention. However SteelEZ will not be held responsible

for any failure of power, Network, server, hosting server, Internet connectivity, ISP or otherwise at Bidder's end or at SteelEZ

directly or indirectly affecting online method of Bidding.

2. SteelEZ takes no responsibility of the quality, quantity, documentation details of buyers/sellers. Both the buyers & sellers agree

to defend indemnify and hold harmless, SteelEZ from any loss, damage, cost and expenses caused by any reason during this

transaction. In no event shall SteelEZ be liable for any loss for the transactors by business, revenues, profit, costs direct and

incidental, consequential or punitive damages of any claim. Both the parties agree to have discussed all the related matter

regarding this transaction and have understood in full that SteelEZ has provided a source of supply and has nothing to do any

further especially with regards to quality, warranty, guarantees, delivery schedules, payments, rejections, transportation, legal

laws and regulations to be followed from time to time etc. Since SteelEZ does not possess knowledge base of the commodities

under transaction both the parties agree that the matter contained in the materials as a part or as a whole does not violate any

applicable law. SteelEZ is only an e-commerce service provider, and is not and cannot be a party to or control in any manner any

transactions between the Seller and Bidder. SteelEZ shall neither be responsible nor liable to mediate or resolve any disputes or

disagreements between the Seller and Bidder.

3. The Seller/Bidder agrees to limit the liability of SteelEZ.com to them for any and all claims, losses, costs, damages of any nature whatsoever or claims expenses from any cause or causes, including attorneys’ fees and costs, so that the total aggregate liability of SteelEZ.com to the Seller/Bidder shall not exceed it’s total fee receivable from the Seller/Bidder. It is intended that this limitation apply to any and all liability or cause of action however alleged or arising, unless otherwise prohibited by law.

4. Wherever images of the auction property are displayed, Bidders may note that SteelEZ does not represent or warrant that the images are accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free even though care has been taken to present them. They are only indicative in nature. Hence bidders are advised to physically inspect the auction property before placing bids.

2.0 PARTICIPATION

2.1 The prospective bidders have to register with SteelEZ by submitting the Membership Registration form duly filled and signed

along with self attested copies of their PAN Card, valid GST registration certificate (if available), and address proof by way of

electricity bill, or telephone bill, or Bank account statement for the last six months. The Membership Registration form along with

the prescribed documents shall be submitted to SteelEZ. The Prospective Bidders, who have submitted the Membership

Registration form along with the prescribed documents to SteelEZ once, need not submit the same again. The prospective bidders

after completing the registration process as above shall have to deposit Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) for each lot separately or

for all lots as prescribed. (Refer Details of Auction Property for Lot-wise EMD) by Demand Draft / Pay Order on any Scheduled /

Nationalized Bank /Scheduled Co-operative Banks (as prescribed by the Seller) Drawn in favour of Ambuja Cements Ltd. payable at

Distt.Solan Devbhoomi HP It has to be submitted directly to any office of SteelEZ (see details of SteelEZ’s Offices in

www.SteelEZ.com) or Ambuja Cements Ltd, Distt.Solan Devbhoomi HP. CASH WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

2.2 Bidders/Seller may note that any payments by DD or cheque or any other means towards EMD/Security Deposit or

other purposes received by SteelEZ on behalf of Seller/Bidder shall be handled in good faith and intention. However

SteelEZ shall not be responsible for the loss of the DD/Cheque from its custody due to reasons beyond its control such as

fire, theft, burglary, loss in transit, accident, war, riots, civil commotion, any terrorist activity, any natural calamity, adverse

weather and climatic conditions etc.

2.3 On completion of the registration process and payment of prescribed EMD as outlined in 2.1 above, seller/SteelEZ will

activate the User – Identity to enter into Website www.SteelEZ.com. Prospective Bidders may please note that failure to

submit the Membership Registration form duly filled and signed along with the prescribed documents will lead to non-

activation of the User ID even if the prescribed EMD has been remitted.

For any auction, a bidder acting as an individual or as proprietor of various firms registered under different user ID and

having the same PAN will be allowed to participate under one user ID only, unless otherwise permitted by the Seller in

writing."

2.4 Password and Security

After intending bidders register with SteelEZ on the website, they will be allotted a unique user identification (User ID) by

SteelEZ and they will be prompted to enter a password. This is the log in password. The log in password is a string of

characters (combination of alpha, numeric & special characters) used to authenticate the identity and provide access to

various resources on the website. The length of the log in password has to be a minimum of eight characters and has to be

a combination of alpha and numeric characters. Special characters can also be included to strengthen the log in password.

However the following special characters

~, ., /, ?, <, >, : , ; , \ ' , \ " , +, =, _, -, ^

are not allowed and will be ignored. Bidders are solely responsible for all use and for maintaining and protecting the

confidentiality of their User ID and password.

Forgot Password

In case Bidders forget the log in password, the only way they can change their log in password is by clicking on the “Forget

Password” link on the home page of the website. Bidders will receive password on their registered mobile phone. Using

the password Bidders can log in.

Bidders. SHOULD NOT disclose their PASSWORD to anyone and safeguard its secrecy. Bidders are advised to change the

Password.

3.0 CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO “ONLINE” AUCTION METHOD OF BIDDING

1. Validity: The Online auction bidders and Tender bidders must keep their bids valid for a period of 30 calendar days from the date of closing of e-Auction excluding the date of closing and for further period as mentioned in the list of items against each Lot . In case the last day falls on a holiday or remains closed for the seller, such Bids will be deemed to be automatically extended to be valid up to the next working day of seller. 2. Time Extension: If any market-leading bid (bid higher than the highest at the point in time) is received within the last 3 minutes (“Time Extension” as mentioned in the Bidding Room will be in force & 3 Minutes is an example) of closing time, the time will be extended automatically by 3 minutes.

3. Training: SteelEZ will provide training (online) if required by the bidders at a mutually convenient date and time before the Auction. 4. Bids: All bids placed are legally valid bids and are to be considered as bids from the bidder himself. Once the bid is placed, the Bidders cannot reduce or withdraw the bid for whatever reason. If done so, the seller will forfeit the EMD. The highest and the latest bid on the Auction shall supersede all the previous bids of the bidder. Bidders may please note that in the event of a manual bid amount matching that of an auto bid, the manual bid will prevail and be considered. The bidder with the highest offer/ bid does not get any right to demand acceptance of his Bid. Auto Bid:

3.5a. Auto Bid facility is provided for bidders intending to place a maximum value for a lot/lots.

3.5b. Auto bid is not a confirmed bid. It is only the maximum ceiling amount set by the bidder to enable the auction engine to place bids on his behalf, whenever he is out bided, upto the ceiling set by him.

3.5c. Once auto bid is set, the auction engine will consider the ceiling amount for the next possible bid only, depending on the highest bid prevailing at that point of time and the increment/decrement amount prescribed for that particular lot. However, Auto Bid cannot be set for amounts less than two increments / decrements to the highest/lowest bid prevailing at that point of time.

3.5d. Bidders may please note that in the event of a manual bid amount matching that of auto bid, the manual bid will prevail and be considered.

4.0 Contract Validity – The contract is valid as given in the list of items against each Lot 5.0 Payment 5.1 All payments shall be made in the form of RTGS/Demand Draft/Pay order issued by any Scheduled / Nationalized Bank /Scheduled Co-operative Banks in favour Ambuja Cements Ltd, Payable at Dist: Surat, Gujarat. 5.2 On receipt of sale confirmation, Successful Bidder/s shall deposit 100% value of the material for the respective lot/s inclusive of the applicable taxes and duties, if any, (calculated as per the bid/s placed and approved by the seller) before collecting the sale order. EMDs of successful Bidders of the lots awarded shall be automatically converted as Interest Free Security Deposit and will be refunded in full after receipt of 100% value for the material and successful completion of Lifting within the stipulated time. 5.3 Bids placed/Rates offered are for the basic price only and are exclusive of all applicable taxes . Taxes and duties will be in addition to the basic price and will be added at rates applicable at the time of delivery OR Bids placed/Rates offered are inclusive of all taxes and duties as applicable. (STRIKE OUT WHICHEVER IS NOT APPLICABLE) DELIVERY 5.4 On receipt of full Sale Value along with applicable ED/VAT/ Sales Tax/TCS & other Charges by the Seller, the Seller will issue final Sale/ Delivery / Release Order to the Buyer thereby enabling him to lift the materials within the stipulated time. 5.5 Lifting of materials will be allowed only between 09:00 A.M. to 04:30 P.M. on all working days. Successful bidders should ensure that the material clearance is as per the seller’s instructions. Neat and clean maintenance of the stockyard from where the material is lifted is the responsibility of the successful bidder. In the event of non-adherence to the above by the successful bidder, seller will reserve its rights to impose penalties/forfeiture of EMD and other payments collected. Weight recorded at the seller’s premises shall prevail. 5.6 In case seller is unable to deliver the goods within the specified time due to unforeseen administrative reasons, then the seller shall grant suitable extension of delivery period to the Buyer without any penalties till the expiry of such extended period. In such eventuality, however, the Buyer shall not be entitled to claim any compensation for such delay.

5.7 If the goods sold or portion thereof remain un-cleared in the premises of the seller beyond the stipulated period, the sales proceeds of the un-lifted assets shall be forfeited and the un-lifted portion of the assets may be removed at the risk and cost of the buyer. 5.8 While taking delivery of the material, it will be at the discretion of the seller or its authorized representative to direct the manner / order in which the materials or lots shall be removed. No segregation of the items of any lot is allowed inside the seller’s premises. 5.9 Breaking/ cutting may be allowed to the extent necessary for facilitating loading into vehicles as per the discretion of the seller. No gas cutting equipments or any equipment, which are likely to cause damage, will be allowed in the premises. Only safe oxy-acetylene gas cutting equipment will be allowed with permission of seller. The decision of the seller or his authorized representative shall be final in this regard. 5.10 The buyer shall arrange for all tools and tackles, forklifts and hoists or cranes or labour at their own expenses. 5.11 It will be successful purchaser’s responsibility to weigh the empty Truck at the weighbridge and produce the weight certificate so that the weight of the empty truck will be deducted from the weight of the fully loaded truck. 5.12 Should the original purchaser wish to take delivery of the surplus material through a representative, he must authorize the latter by a letter of authority or continuing authority, which shall be presented to the seller. The seller may in his entire discretion decline to act on any such authority and it shall be for the purchaser to satisfy the seller that the authority is genuine. Delivery to such authorized person will constitute valid delivery and no claim shall lie against the seller on any account thereafter. 5.13 Once the goods / materials are taken out of the factory gate, purchaser will be solely responsible for all sorts of claims like shortage, missing parts, damage, incident, accident, loss of material etc. 5.14 Resale will not be recognized. The purchaser shall not be entitled to resell any lot or part of a lot while goods are still lying within the premises of the seller and no delivery would be effected by the seller to any person other than the Purchaser whose names are mentioned in the sale order/Delivery order. 5.15 Purchaser and his men are subject to the security rule of seller in force while in the seller’s premises. The purchaser/s, their workmen agents or representatives shall not commit any nuisance, theft or indulge in any antisocial activities in the seller’s premises and the purchaser shall be liable for the good conduct, safety & discipline of his workmen. In case of any such activity, delivery will be suspended and strict action as per law will be taken including forfeiture of EMD. 5.16 While taking delivery of the material, the Purchasers shall be responsible for any damage that may be done to premises / fittings of the SELLER in the course of removing the lot or lots purchased by them. The SELLER may at its option arrange to make good such damages and the purchaser shall pay for the same on demand. If such payment is not made on demand, the SELLER may forfeit the EMD/Security Deposit or may stop delivery of the material till payment is made. 5.17 SELLER will not at any time be responsible for any injuries caused due to accident within its premises either to the buyer or his representative / labour etc., and the buyer will make proper arrangements for any claim arising out of the employment under any status. It is the responsibility of the buyer to provide necessary safety appliances (like hand gloves / safety shoes etc.,) to the labourers, who are engaged for loading the materials. 5.18 If any accident or damage to the property / life etc. arises by reason of any act of negligence / omission / default or non-compliance with any of the Terms & Conditions or statutory regulations or rules and regulations applicable within the Seller’s premises, on the part of the Buyer / his representative or employees, resulting in death or injury to any persons or damages to the property of the SELLER or any third party, then in such an event the Buyer will have to pay compensation to such person including the employees of the SELLER for such accident or injury / death or damage caused to their employees or to any of the Seller’s employees or to others or to the Seller’s property. The Buyer shall in such event, keep the SELLER fully indemnified from any demand, claims or proceedings thereof. 6.0 Disputes / Arbitration 6.1 An authorized official or any other person appointed by the seller shall decide any dispute arising between the successful bidder and seller. The decision of the Arbitrator shall be final and binding on both the parties.. 6.2 Disputes between seller & bidder if any shall be within the jurisdiction of Dist: Surat, Gujarat courts only. 6.3 In the event of any dispute with regard to not taking possession / non-availability of inspected Auction Property etc. and forfeiture of 'EMD', SteelEZ will not be held responsible for the loss / forfeiture.

7.0 Other Conditions STEPS FOR ACTUAL BIDDING PROCEDURE: 8.1 Go to www.SteelEZ.com 8.2 Enter your- “Login ID” and “Password.” 8.3 When a bidder logs in for the first time for the particular auction, then he has to accept the Terms & Conditions. (After accepting the terms & conditions of the company only will you be able to bid). 8.4 After accepting the terms you will be taken to the auction-listing page where you will be able to see all the details about the auction. 8.5 Click on Auction Room link on the top of this page. This will take you to the Bidding Page. A separate Window opens which is the Bid room. 8.6 Now Start Bidding. You can either Bid Manually OR can use Auto-Bid. (In Auto bid, the computer will bid on your behalf up to the value you given.) 8.7 In the Manual Bid option, you can put your bid in the text box available for each ITEM and submit it every time. A bid confirmation pop up box will appear to confirming whether you want to go ahead with the posted bid or not. If you confirm the bid, your bid will be posted. If your bid is accepted, that will be displayed in “Your bid” column on your right side screen. Also the highest bid amount will be displayed in “Highest bid” column. Any wrong bids will lead to forfeiture of Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) and said lot will be re-auctioned immediately and the bidder may be barred from the future bidding, if any. 9.0 FORCE MAJEURE CLAUSE: Seller shall not be liable for non-performance of any contract either wholly or in part nor for any delay in performance resulting due to cases beyond seller’s control including fire, strikes, lock-out, closure, dispute with workmen, uncertain and unstable labor situation, war, riots, civil commotion, pestilence, epidemic, floods, accidents, damage or requirements of Government force or any circumstances. Should seller so determine shall be entitled at any time without notice to the buyer to cancel any contract the performance of which is likely to be delayed by any of the cause aforesaid and in such cases, the buyer shall have no claim upon the seller of any kind, The provision of this paragraph shall not be limited or abrogated by any other terms of the contract whether printed or written nor will be provision of this clause abrogate or limit the effect of any other clause mentioned in these terms and conditions.

1.1 Contractor Employee Responsibilities

Work with care and consideration for personal health and safety, and for the safety and protection of equipments.

Comply with all safe work practices and procedures adopted by the Contractor in consultation with the Project Owner.

Participate in regular safety meetings and site inspections

Utilization tools, equipment, and machinery in a proper, respectful, and responsible manner.

Report immediately any potential workplace hazards or any mishaps, incidents, or injuries that may occur during the course of work.

Cooperate with incident or accident investigations as required

Work with all Contractors, Project Management, and others to help create and maintain a safe work place.

Provide ideas, suggestions, and solutions to improve safety in the workplace.

1.1.1 Contractor Employees

The Project Management will work with the Contractors to establish and implement a recognition and reward system for

the project. The Project Management has established a “Zero Tolerance Policy” to establish consequences for contractor

safety violations of life-critical activities, specific violations to include:

100% fall protection above 2 meters or less than 2 meters from an unprotected edge.

Use of floatation devices when working above water or in designated areas

Failure to control hazardous energy sources (Lockout/Tagout) as required.

Failure to evaluate confined space and perform air monitoring checks prior to entry.

Instructing a contractor or sub-contractor to violate or compromise a lfe-critical standard.

Suspicion of drug and/or alcohol use while onsite

Violators of above-mentioned life-critical activities will be removed from site permanently.

1.2 INCIDENT INVESTIGATIONS

1.2.1 AMBUJA CEMENTS LIMITED Employees

AMBUJA CEMENTS LIMITED Employees will report incidents and conduct incident investigations through the

administration dept. at site.

1.2.2 Contractor Employees

Incident investigations involving contractor employees will be investigated jointly by the Project Management and the

Contractor involved. Contract companies may use their internal reporting and investigation procedures after a Project

Management review to ensure that the procedure meets or exceeds Group Company standards. At a minimum, a root

cause analysis of the incident must be completed resulting in recommendations that must be addressed, resolved, and

documented.

1.2.3 Notification and Reporting

All incidents must be analyzed to determine if the incident meets AMBUJA CEMENTS LIMITED reporting requirements.

Notification of an incident is the responsibility of the contract company involved, however the Project Management is

responsible to ensure this notification is completed. The Project Management is additionally responsible to notify the

Holcim Corporate Manager, Safety and Security of all actual and potential Lost Time Injuries / Illnesses for all personal

onsite.

1.3 DESIGN SAFETY AND REVIEW

The Project Management will ensure that proper occupational health and safety management is incorporated into the

MCW second line design process through the implementation of the Design Safety and Review Procedure. The goal of the

Project Management is to eliminate hazards where possible and/or effectively control those hazards which cannot be

eliminated through mechanical systems.

1.4 FALL PROTECTION PROGRAM

It will be the responsibility of each General Contractor company to implement and train their affected contractors and

subcontractors on a Fall Protection procedure consistent with AMBUJA CEMENTS LTD and government standards. The

Project Management will review this procedure to ensure minimum standards are included specifically:

Requirements for selecting approved anchorage attachment points

Identification of requirements for work above 2 meters or less than 2 meters from an unprotected edge.

Requirements for handling personal at height via cages

Harness, cage, and sling inspection requirements.

It will be the responsibility of each General Contractor company to implement and train their affected contractors and

subcontractors on a Personal Protective Equipment Procedure consistent with AMBUJA CEMENTS LIMITED and

government standards. The Project Management will review this procedure to ensure minimum standards are included,

specifically:

A procedure for the issuance, use and control of personal protective clothing and equipment

A hazard assessment method to determine when PPE is needed.

Minimum PPE requirements for the site to include : hard hats, safety glasses with side shields, floatation devices (as required) and safety-toe footwear.

Task-specific PPE requirements including face shields, welding hoods, high voltage PPE, respiratory protection, fall protection, hearing protection, gloves etc.

Identification of areas where minimum PPE requirements would be exempted.

1.6 Contractor Roles and Responsibilities

Contractors shall conduct their work in compliance with all relevant environmental laws, regulations, project permits and

company policies. If plans for design/implementation of construction conflict with permit requirements, these should be

communicated to the Environment Manager as early as possible to determine alternate actions in order to not delay the

project.

Permit modification can be both time consuming and difficult. In no case will action be taken that is in a knowing violation

of permit.

Hazardous Material / Community Right-to-Know/RCRA Wastes

All containers shall be labeled for their contents

Flammable materials shall be stored appropriately

Transportation of RCRA hazardous waste off-site shall be properly manifested, with copies to Environmental Manager.

Good house-keeping is paramount. All garbage shall be placed in appropriate containers supplied by the Contractor, which will be disposed of as necessary.

Unused portions of materials brought to the site by Contractor shall be removed from the site by the contractor unless otherwise agreed to.

1.6.1 Vehicles

Contractor’s labor force will park in designated areas within/around the construction site. Contractors will be responsible

for security of the parking areas and AMBUJA CEMENTS LTD will not be responsible for any theft or damages incurred to

the vehicles parked in this area.

Contractor’s vehicles must obey the posted speed limit signs on the main access road All vehicles will use only the

designated roads Contractor’s supervision must park their vehicles in an orderly fashion so as not to block other traffic No

vehicles will be allowed inside the construction area without a current permit which will be issued by the Project

Management. Any supervisor’s vehicle allowed inside the construction area may be checked upon exit Delivery of

equipment and materials will pass through the main access and are also subject to check.

1.6..2 Eating Areas Eating is permitted in designated areas within the work area. Contractors can restrict eating areas and

designate an area adjacent to their offices. These eating areas will be constructed and maintained in a professional and

hygienic manner by the respective contractor.

1.7 Substance Abuse Policy You shall ensure that all employees / persons arranged / employed / engaged / deputed by

you to our company for carrying out works in execution of this work order / contract shall follow our “Substance Abuse

Policy” which is given below:

Policy Statement:

All employees, contractors and visitors shall not be under the influence of drugs and / or alcohol while performing work for ACL within or outside its premises.

ACL is committed to ensure a working environment free from effects of substance abuse.

All employees, contractors and visitors are expected to attend work regularly and perform, in safe and unimpairing manner.

ACL shall address issues related to the work environment, that may lead to the use of drug and alcohol and shall encourage the affected employees to come forward voluntarily for assistance.

All employees, contractors and visitors shall be made aware that some prescribed and over the counter medication can impair abilities to perform their duties.

All employees, contractors and visitors found in breach of this policy shall be subject to discipline in accordance with the company policy, local regulation and / or terms of agreement.
