The Birth of a Vision…The OMATEK Computer Factory was conceived by it’s mother company, OMATEK VENTURES LIMITED (OVL).

OMATEK Ventures itself has been in existence since 1986 when it was in the IT Training business and grew into executive training by 1988.

By 1990, OVL has become a major reseller for Compaq, IBM, ACER, and APPLE amongst other world recognized computer brands.

The Birth of a Vision…As a result of high sales volumes achieved, the company was appointed a Premium Partner for Compaq, Senior Partner for IBM, Apple, and Microsoft for turnovers in excess of $1million annually.

Omatek GhanaToday, OMATEK has expanded its horizons with the setting up of OMATEK Ventures (Ghana) Ltd and OMATEK COMPUTERS (Ghana) Ltd, which is a carbon copy of the Nigerian factory.

The Factory…OMATEK is the pioneer and the only factory on the African continent involved in the production of Computers, Casings and Speakers from Completely-Knocked-Down (CKD) components.

Operating at 25% capacity Utilisation, the OMATEK Computer factory rolls out per annum:

48,000 fully-built PCs 120,000 Casings and 120,000 Speakers.

Assembly of OEM BrandsThe OMATEK factory assembles OEM brands for other brand builders both local & foreign. These brands are customised in the OEM brand names. This has effectively generated employment for over 300 Nigerians in the assembly lines

OMATEK is presently producing a low-cost PC for INTEL to fulfil the realization of CANI/GAPP initiative spearheaded by Intel and Microsoft, to digitally empower all Nigerians.
