Main thing in sport is character of the athlete

• Do you always achieve your goals? Do you carry them out ? I think many people lack such a quality as perseverance! As for us develop this quality is to do sport. Why sport? Because in sport everything depends on character and perseverance!

Page 3: Olympic Character

• I think that a dream of a professional sportsman is a gold Olympic medal !

Page 4: Olympic Character

• For some people it only a dream, but for someone this dream transforms into a goal . And to achieve this goal is not enough just a talent, you need patience and the will to win, sports rage and, of course, perseverance, hard work over several years. That's when admired spectators will stands to applaud you.

Page 5: Olympic Character

• There are many examples when people have been made an Olympic champion, but result is very poor. Of course, there may be many external factors, because of which we are not in our power.

Page 6: Olympic Character

• I know one Kaliningrad athlete who trained a little but he became a master of sport at school. It seems ideal. But to succeed in anything, you need to work hard. So one day he felt fatigue, and he immediately gave up sport. He had a weak character, he could not endure , he immediately surrendered. But he could come an Olympic champion!

Page 7: Olympic Character

• As well, there are examples in the history of sport, when people who have no natural faculty became champions.

Page 8: Olympic Character

• All great athletes achieved victories going through all the difficulties of the training process.

Page 9: Olympic Character

• Many did not immediately become winners, but they did not give up, and set a goal to win next time! They worked long and hard and became champions! Many things depend on a character of an athlete!

Page 10: Olympic Character

• For example, the fate of each Paralympics is a unique store of overcoming, history of pain and victories, the price of which most people have very little idea.

Page 11: Olympic Character

• We know little about those who have found the strength and courage to challenge the sense of doom and find, perhaps, the most important thing which is the feeling of being wanted.

Page 12: Olympic Character

• In spite of everything, in spite of the primarily shamefaced indifference atmosphere which for many years has surrounded (and largely still surrounds) the lives of these people such as a skier and biathlonist Irek Zaripov!

Page 13: Olympic Character

• Irek was not changed with Glory. The champion does not boast about his achievements, difficulties and training. Irek especially thanks his parents and family.

Page 14: Olympic Character

• He simply says: “I feel like a complete person. I have everything I need for happiness. I have my home, my family and the sport that brought me back to life”.

Page 15: Olympic Character

• Strong character, ability to endure, to work and not to give up the sport are qualities without which no one can become a champion. There is a good Russian proverb “Perseverance and effort!”

Page 16: Olympic Character

• Work hard, never give up, set goals and achieve them, and you will always succeed in life!
