Daylight Harvesting

Daylight harvesting (also called day-lighting) is simple. During the day, when natural light is streaming in through windows and skylights, less artificial light is necessary. Active skylights and advancements in diffusing material provide greater distribution of natural light than when tied to lighting controls. This automates the process by maintaining light levels and reducing electrical costs.

Facility Auditing

Facility Auditing consists of taking a detailed inventory of your existing lighting system and all if its components. We inventory the type of lighting system used, the grid pattern of how they are installed and then measure the light output the particular room is receiving. We then tally the results to determine a total output/needs analysis. Olino Energy are experts in determining how to reduce energy consumption while maintaining or increasing the light levels in your facility.

• Your business will receive a pro-forma assessment initially to give real numbers to a real situation. • A detailed audit will be based upon the approval of the pro-forma audit. • A full tally of the results will be used to determine next steps to take and different paths to LED lighting. • Kilowatt usage spreadsheets (often provided by your utility) which detail the expected savings after switching to LED technology will be used in all discussions so that operational savings can be clearly understood.
