About the Georgetown Business Improvement District
The Georgetown Business Improvement District
(BID) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to
protecting and enhancing the accessibility, at-
tractiveness and overall appeal of Georgetown.
Established in 1999 by its property owners and
merchants, the Georgetown BID has more than 1,000 members.
The organization is located in the heart of Georgetown in Wash-
ington, D.C and sets a standard of excellence in preserving historic

GETTING HERE AND PARKING
Ride the Circulator to Georgetown // The red, black and yellow-
striped DC Circulator bus links cultural, entertainment and business
destinations within the city with two lines running through Georgetown.
The Dupont Circle-Georgetown-Rosslyn line runs from the Dupont Circle
South metro station to the Rosslyn, VA metro station, with stops along M
Street. The Union Station-Georgetown route runs from Union Station to
Georgetown via K Street and back to Union Station with stops Wisconsin
Avenue traveling northbound and on M Street traveling eastbound. For

METROBUS // The following Metrobus lines all service the George-
town area: 31, 32, 36, 38B, D1, D2, D3, D5, D6, and G2. For routes and trip

Cady’s Alley // M Street between 33rd and 34th Streets Cady’s Alley plays a key role in Georgetown’s designation as DC’s

Georgetown hosts four annual signature events for all audiences. The “Georgetown French Market” event takes place in April and kicks off spring, with a two-day festival and Parisian-inspired sidewalk sale in the Book Hill neigh-borhood of Georgetown. “Taste of Georgetown” in June focuses on the area’s dining options and famed restaurants. 1 Georgetown French Market The ever-popular Georgetown French Market event brings over 5,000
attendees to the streets of Georgetown every April. Participating Book Hill
