Attendance Term 2 Week 3
Above is the attendance data for the last week, which is looking pretty good, but there is room for
improvement. It would be great to get 100% before the end of the term. Keep up the good work.
Department of Education Policy states that you are required to attend school everyday.. If you
are going to be absent for any reason, please contact the Front Office.
Also, if your child has seen a Doctor, remember to send a copy of the Medical Certificate when
they return to school .
IMPORTANT: Should your contact details change, please let us know.
Thank you.

Well our big day arrived and our students were very excited they could see the track and
watched the early events with the other schools. They were eager to compete and couldn’t
wait for their allotted events
Our students were well behaved and competed well over the day. They asked good
questions when we started and enjoyed the competition between schools, some had
cousins and friends cheering them on which was a great motivator.
First up were the girls, Holly and Ebonie, they both put in a good effort and competed
well with middle of the field placing’s, again a good effort without much prior preparation.
Next we had the boy’s races, Tyson, Eric, Malachy, Isiah, and Kevin. All of these boys gave
everything and left nothing in the tank, again coming mid field which is a good effort
when you have up to 30 students in each race. Isiah finished in 15 and beat the next person
home by 50 seconds.
We entered Kevin in the cross country, the youngest person at the carnival. Well he never
stopped and kept an even pace throughout the whole race a great achievement recognised
by all the competitors.
We finished off the day with treat at McDonald’s and Subway.
A big thankyou to Amanda King for her support and direction, without the support of our
support staff we cannot run these types of events.
Rex Brasting.
