Overview

Fully showing the core technologies of intelligent manufacturing, the intelligent manufacturing system for personalized bookmarks delivers small batch production and customized production. It can rely on the mobile terminal or the Internet terminal to place an order for production, monitor the status, control the system monitoring, and conduct other work. With an independent controller, each unit of the system can send the order information to the controller via the Ethernet/Industrial Protocol when sending the database the controller status that is displayed at the cloud and mobile terminal.

This system covers such manufacturing links as feed, transport, processing and detection. Each unit is so equipped with a programmable logic controller (PLC), a human machine interface (HMI), a conveyor belt and a robot that it can either independently conduct an experiment or build a network for comprehensive research. After the bookmark material is fed, the system stamps it, writes characters on it, performs laser engraving work. Meanwhile, the system feeds and glues a packing box, and finally produces a complete customized product by assembling the box and the finished bookmark. The system applies to the courses, such as Intelligent Manufacturing System, Industrial Internet Technology, Robot Technology, Programmable Control Technology, and Machine

Process Flow:

1) Bookmark feed unit: From this unit the incoming bookmark material is automatically fed in the sunk silo, and placed on the assembly line by the feed robot.

2) Stamping unit: When the bookmark is conveyed to this unit, the robot grabs the bookmark on the assembly line, and puts it to the stamping position. Then, the stamped bookmark is discharged by the robot to the assembly line.

3) Laser engraving unit: The laser engraving robot carves some custom blessing words on the bookmark.

4) Writing and detection unit: The writing robot writes custom blessing words on the bookmark, the bookmark is conveyed to the vision detection position, where its

defects are detected by the industrial camera.

5) Bottom box feed and gluing unit: The bottom box material is automatically fed in the sunk silo, and the robot simulates the gluing for the box bottom.

6) Substrate assembly unit: The substrate is automatically fed by the lifting silo, and the robot grabs and assembles the substrate.

7) Tassel assembly unit: The tassel tray is automatically fed by the silo that automatically changes a tray; the robot grabs the tassels, and places them in the bookmark box.

8) Finished product assembly unit: This unit helps the robot to place a qualified finished product in the bookmark box from the vision detection unit, then to take out the box cover from the sunk silo and to assemble the cover on the bookmark box.

9) The bookmark box is conveyed to the finished product position, from which the finished product is pushed out of the assembly line by the push cylinder.
