Parashat KedoshimThis parashah, one of the richest and most exalted in the Torah, begins with the words "you shall be holy" (k'doshim tihyu)...God can make things holy, as in the case of Shabbat (Gen. 2:3). As human beings, we can be Godlike by exercising our power to sanctify moments and objects in our lives.
