“serving our community”

Our 2nd fish stocking for the lake will be this month. The delivery date has not been determined.

Lions Club supported the CMN Triathlon on Sept. 14 by providing 20 golf carts and drivers to shuttle spectators to the community center.

Lions Club will sponsor our Community Halloween this year. Community residents are encouraged to participate in this fun childrens activity.

On Sept 5th, Dr. Michael Grauer, director/curator at the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum, was our guest speaker. He spoke on the “true American” cowboys not the ones we see on TV. On Sept. 19th, Dr. Don Topliff, Dean of Agriculture, Science, & Engineering spoke on the agriculture issues such as diminishing water sources, food production, and beef cloning. Beef cloning information was so interesting.

Dear Lake Tangle wood Friends,

We want to say THANK YOU for the great turnout on Friday, August 23rd. We appreciate all your support and everyone being so gracious while we sold opportunity to win tickets. Please know that 100% of the proceeds go towards furthering the Mission of The Bridge – Providing a Child’s Path to Healing and Justice. Your support helps children and their families heal from the trauma of abuse and start on the path to recovery.

Again, thank you for your generosity!

The Staff of The Bridge and Lynda Gray

Special thanks to all of the 125 Lake Tanglewood volunteers who provided a safe environment for the 275 athletes. The athletes continue to praise the CMN Triathlon at Lake Tanglewood. They say that LT is the best place for a triathlon because it is so well planned. They also appreciate all of the volunteers & residents who are helpful and friendly.

Special thanks to Barry & Judy Lynch who started the CMN Triathlon in honor of their son, Thomas. You are great parents and role models for us all.
