enable/disable such granular stats for specific APN and/or for

specific QCI+ARP combination.

Multiple Parameter based Virtual

targeted to significantly improve the battery life for IoT devices.

MME Support for eDRX (extended

Discontinuous Reception)

Optional MME MME support for eDRX as per 3GPP Rel-13. This is to allow for

longer inactivity periods and hence significantly improve device

battery life of IoT devices. This feature allows the device to contact

the network or to be contacted on a per-need basis, meaning that it

can stay in sleep mode for minutes, hours or even days.

Support for EC-GSM (Extended

Coverage GSM) in SGSN

Optional SGSN SGSN support for Gb coverage class for EC-GSM. This feature is

targeted for IoT deployment in 2G radio, due to it’s advantage of

near 100% coverage in some countries.

DSCP values for bearers with the same QCI, but different APR

/ Gx based trigger for restoration. Upon receiving the P-CSCF

restoration flag from the PCRF, the P-GW performs a new DNS

query using the existing P-CSCF FQDN to provide the updated list

of three P-CSCF IP addresses using PCO.

S6b based P-CSCF restoration

procedure

Optional PGW 3GPP Release 12 based P-CSCF restoration procedure via AAA /

S6b based trigger for restoration. This is needed mainly for WiFi

RAT. For LTE HSS based trigger via MME is used and is already

supported.

ePDG selection by PGW using PCO Optional PGW PCO is currently used by PGW to pass DNS and P-CSCF

addresses to UE. PGW will select the closest ePDG and pass its

address to a UE using PCO over LTE connection. This is a custom

feature.

PCO/APCO support for WiFi Optional PGW PCO/APCO support for S2a based WiFi RAT. E.g. APCO for P-

CSCF Discovery on S2a between PGW and SaMOG GW.
