The standard product range includes > Battery chargers up to 1200ADC> AC inverters with power ratings up to 750 kVA> Double conversion UPS systems with power ratings up to 750kVA > higher ratings are available on request

Spare parts and replacement kit availability is guaranteed for the lifetime of the equipment.

Complementary solutions de-signed specifically for nuclear applications include:

High-DC voltage limiter:Designed to protect the system from over-voltage due to a power line surge (i.e. Forsmark event)

Battery discharge unit: Allows the discharging of batteries, feeding the energy back to the grid

Diagnostic unit: Standalone unit that can be plugged into the UPS system to easily per-form a wide range of diagnostic tests

Qualification

Seismic design qualificationSeismic qualification of the system is required for nearly all nuclear applications. GUTOR has many years of experience in this field. Typically, one of the following two approaches is used for seismic qualification.

Full-scale testThis is the conventional approach, in which a representative System is mounted on a seismic table, energized and tested according to the project-specific seismic response spectrum. GUTOR has a wide range of test results available.

Combined methodThis approach combines physical full-scale tes-ting of the individual components with a dynamic analysis of the overall system. The technique allows the system design to be optimized in each case. From an economic point of view, this pro-cedure is advantageous, as it does not require a prototype system to be built.

Both of these approaches are in line with the IEEE344, IEC60068 and IEC60980 standards.
