Her lifelong passion for exotic travel continues to influence her work and subtle elegant traces of her travels in Europe, Asia, India and Central America are exhibited in her designs. While influenced by such designers as Suzanne Kasler, Jan Showers and Larry Laslo, Cindy synthesizes her own fusion of an elaborate collection of styles and expertise to create beautiful, balanced and exceptionally functional environments for her clients. Her signature style is a crisp, elegant mix of sophisticated eclectic, with touches of traditional and a savvy use of materials, textures and technology. Designing from the premise of intention, Cindy places great significance on the inspiration and guidance gained from the idea that each element must offer a personal connection for the user. Congress of Clubs
The Kingwood Interior Design Student Chapter was represented at the Kingwood Congress of Clubs’
Fall Congressional Assembly, held on Friday, October 25th. Each registered student organization has a
club representative that reports on its various activities, membership, community service, as well as
missions and goals. This event was sponsored by the Office of Student Life and the Student
Government Association. Congress of Clubs is a formal accountability assembly, and participation
plays a part in determining the funding of the student clubs. Our representative at the Fall Assembly
was our Vice President, Karen Reade. She reported on the Interior Design Club's outstanding
membership and participation in club functions. Our upcoming food drive to benefit the Good
Shepherd Ministries was also announced. – Karen Reade, Vice President.

Tansel Coskun
Two of our fellow students put their imagination to
work and entered this light switch design
competition. What a great way to have fun and get
involved with the industry.
Angela’s and Tansel’s designs are fabulous! Great
job!
