Sons and daughters of God, on behalf of my colleague officers-Pastor Derick Adu Asare (Secretary) and Dr. Joseph Osei Agyena (Treasurer), I welcome you joyfully to North America Ghanaian Seventh-day Adventists (NAGSDA) camp meeting 2021 for Adults, Youth and Children. Unfortunately, we missed this highly cherished convocation last year and had to compensate with a revival. Therefore, this year it is a wonderful privi-lege for us to come together in the virtual space provided by our Almighty Father. Even though you cannot see your friends and loved ones physically, just seeing them virtually, I believe, can be heartwarming. Moreover, the heavenly host will be with us in fulfillment of the promise in Matthew 18:20: “For where two or three are gathered in My name, I am there in the midst of them. “This is the first NAGSDA Virtual camp meeting, and I believe we will experience many exciting moments as we study, sing, pray and worship our Maker and our King of Kings. What is more exciting is that during the last executive committee meeting of NAGSDA, we welcomed and admitted into the NAGSDA family our brothers and sisters of (Pacific Ghanaian Adventist Fellowship (PaGAF) as full members of NAGSDA. The presenters for this camp meeting are your seasoned pastors and laity who provide ministry in our churches across North America. We deem it a blessing to have Elder Ted. Wilson, President of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists as our Sab-bath Guest Speaker for the divine service. Ellen G White wrote in (2T 601:3): “The object of a camp meeting is to lead all to sepa-rate from business cares and burdens and devote a few days exclusively to seeking the Lord.” She continues, "we should occupy the time in self-examination, close searching of heart, penitential confession of sins, and renewing our vows to the Most High God." In addition, I invite you to consider attendance at this camp meeting as your response to the call from our Lord Jesus Christ “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy lad-en, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). Since March of 2020, the world has witnessed many calamities in the air, land, and sea. Covid 19 has robbed many families of precious loved ones, and the fight against it con-tinues. Are these pointers to the end of the world? Beloved, sit back and enjoy all the presentations on the theme: “FINAL EVENTS.” You will receive special heavenly blessings through participation in this virtual camp meeting, which is my prayer for you and your family. Elder Ted Wilson

Ted N. C. Wilson began his church career as a pastor in 1974 in the Greater New York Conference. He married Nancy Louise Vollmer Wilson, a physical therapist, in 1975. The couple have three daughters: Emile Louise, married to Pastor Kameron DeVasher; Elizabeth Esther, married to Pastor David Wright; and Catherine Anne, married to Dr. Robert Renck. The Wilsons have eleven grandchildren. Born in Takoma Park, Maryland on May 10, 1950, the son of for-mer Adventist world church President Neal C. Wilson and Elinor E. Wilson, Wil-son spent part of his childhood in Egypt. Wilson served as an assistant director and then director of Metropolitan Minis-tries in New York from 1976 to 1981. He also served the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist then Africa-Indian Ocean Division, based in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire, until 1990, as a departmental director and later as executive sec-retary. Following his post in West Africa, he served for two years at the General Con-ference World Headquarters of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, in Silver Spring, Maryland, United States, as an associate secretary. He went on to ac-cept the position of president of the General Conference of Seventh-day Ad-ventist Euro Asia-Division in Moscow, Russia, which he held from 1992 to 1996. Pastor Wilson returned to the United States to serve as president of the Re-view and Herald Publishing Association in Hagerstown, Maryland, until his elec-tion as a General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist vice president in 2000, and elected as president in 2010, until current. An ordained minister, Pastor Wilson holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Religious Education from New York University, a Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University, and a Master of Science degree in Public Health from the Loma Linda University School of Public Health. In addition to English, he speaks French and some Russian.
