The Profile G e t G i v e Name Job Title Skills Interests Accepts Meet Me! $ G e t G i v e The Target Audience People who are going into a new career. Primarily this is graduate students and people wanting a sea change. The Future of Work How it will Change the World No More Mad Men will make moving into a new career much less stressful and an activity of mutual benefit. It will enable members to be more employable and feel more valued in the community. This will mean that job cuts are no longer feared, creat- ing a more competetitive work force, increasing the speed of innovation and creating more employee sup- port. Every generation has more careers in their lives that the one before. There are crowd sourcing websites popping up all over the place. The future of the way we work is in highly specialised, short term, mobile jobs. We will be work- ing with employers for hours, not years. New careers are being created every year, resulting in an uber flexible workforce that relies more on continu- ous learning than repetition. What is Next Testing Web Building Activating Testing the network system on the target market. Both at university and externally on strangers. Many itera- tions of the system will be created, resulting in a finely tuned result at the end of the year. The network will be built into a website with the help of a web developer. This will also be user tested. A working mock up will be created, enabling users to test the program and add suggestions for changes. The final product will be a working mock up, to be dis- played at the exhibition. Ideally it will interact with Facebook and LinkeIn and be a fully functioning plat- form, at a prototyping level.
