813074 – Currently, there is not a place to document protein grams per day on the Nutrition Assessment.


934163 - Change the verbiage in the depart process to "Patient/Caregiver verbalizes understanding of instructions given." Currently nurses do not want to check this box if a patient is unable to respond because of age or neurological limitations.


996131 - Please add "Finger Foods" to the options listed for Diet Parameters in the Diet order.


788506 – Iview Only - Cardiac Cath IR IView band needs to include discharge documentation.


952138 - Nurses were losing vital pieces of information/orders due to the nursing communication tasks not having the correct task frequency defined (once vs prn vs continuous).



968328 - All Sites/All Domains-Patient Safety Issue-Due to the various types of bariatric diets, further explanation is needed to clarify which type of bariatric diet. Gastric Sleeve, Gastric Bypass or Lapband.



622889 - Need to Powerform to chart End of Life Care.




849870 - The Nutrition Services Council reviewed the available Diet Types for the Diet order. There were many combinations of renal diets, i.e., Renal/Dialysis CKD-5, Renal/Non-Dialysis CKD 3-4, etc, however there was no 'Renal' diet.


688278- Changing a setting on the Float RN position to see all Behavioral Health results which will allow the IView Band to display and work appropriately

695120- The ventriculostomy assessment section in the Neurologic Monitoring IView band now allows nursing staff to document more than one instance. This is the same functionality used in Peripheral IV and Wound documentation.

847185- Change the way the Nurses select the Order Details in Powerplans from an ellipsis button to the drop down arrow

924035- Change the rule so the pre-visit admission assessment does not fire upon admission to the facility

932712- Created a new Powerform called Interpreter Documentation that allows healthcare staff to document on if an interpreter was called, what language was used, interpreter ID, and any additional comments that they might have regarding the conversation. Being placed in the Basic Care folders in AdHoc Charting window.

968662- Add the activity type of Intake and Output to the q4H frequency

976014- Adding additional NRSY Room/Beds 3102-31 to 3102-70 in Cerner to match Invision. Invision has been updated

807043- Updating Security to allow providers that have the MAR and MAR Summary tab to be able to access the filter on both of these tabs. Positions include Nursing, Providers, as well as other positions.

943605- Pneumococcal indications and contraindications updated

948342- The follow process was identified after meeting with a blood transfusion workgroup at GW: Virtual view the orderable that says Transfuse - (Blood product name - RBC, plasma, platelets, etc.) off of George Washington only. Modify the Transfusion rule to add facility logic and to turn the rule off for George Washington Hospital only. Add a synonym to the Transfuse blood product order called Transfuse Blood Product GW. This synonym was added to their HEME powerplans. Staff will need to be educated to choose this orderable to let nurses know when to transfuse blood product. ALL FACILITIES - Updated the codeset for the field "Transfusion priority" to now display as "Now" and "with Dialysis" instead of "Transfuse now" and "Transfuse with dialysis". This is to eliminate excess verbiage.

954937- Serum and Urine labels now print when collecting Creatinine Clearance

968924- The Ethnic Background and Genetic Screen Grids located on the OB Triage section in the OB/Triage Admission History PowerForm has been updated to allow for multiple selections
