About Me

My name is Natasha King and I have a love affair with photography. Not just any type of photography but with photography that captures your child, as they are, right now. This mad love affair started right after the birth of my son. I couldn’t get enough pictures of him at home and the “chain” photography places only gave me sterile pictures that told me nothing about my son’s personality. Instead of being frustrated, I began to educate myself more about photography and made the decision to seek my MFA in Photography. I am now two short semesters away from obtaining that degree and I couldn’t be happier.

In the course of my degree I have been asked many times to sum up myself in one sentence and I say with pride, “I am a wife, a mother, and a photographer.” But to my clients I say, “I am you.”

I use my experiences as a parent to take better pictures of your child. I know that children have their own agenda and their is little we adults can do but relax and enjoy that ride. So I do!

When you love what you’re doing it shows in your work.

SEPTEMBER SESSIONSFall is the perfect time to get some family portraits done outside. The great outdoors makes a beautiful backdrop and there is plenty of space for little ones who need to run around. You pick the location or a location can be suggested for you. Book your session early! Week-end dates go fast!!! Wardrobe Suggestions: Wear complimen-tary colors, but don’t dress the whole family exactly alike. Avoid character clothing or shirts with words. When in doubt check with your photographer.

Mini Sessions!!!

LIMITED AVAILABILITY From baby’s first Halloween on, this is the most fun you will have at a photo session. It’s short and sweet and you can bring up to two costumes.

When: October 7-9th Where: In Studio

The Digital Package $50 Includes: 15-30 minute session CD of 5-10 images 2 - 5x7 prints, 8 - wallets (can be split into two different poses- 4 of each) FREE printable Halloween Card

The Print Package $25 Includes: 15-20 minute session 2 - 5x7 prints, 8 - wallets (can be split into two different poses- 4 of each)

The (not-so) fine print: Deposit of half your package price is re-quired to hold your spot. The remainder is due at or before your session. Children must be in a costume for the photos. Maximum of one costume change per child. Base prices are for one child. You may add additional children for $5 each.

I was so happy to have found Natasha. She first shot maternity pictures with my husband and I and she did such an amazing job. We have gotten so many compliments on the pic-tures. I felt comfortable with Natasha from the very begining and left so excited for our little one to get here so she could take her pictures as well!

When our little girl arrived, she wasn’t very cooperative. Natasha was so amazing and so patient with her. I don’t know how she did it, but she managed the most amazing shots of our little girl.
