she can be someone to turn to with problems, such asproblems with learning or school issues, such as bullying.

As a kid in elementary or middle school, youre at awonderful stage in your life. Youre like a sponge, ableto soak up lots of new and exciting information. On topof that, youre able to think about all this information innew ways.

Your teacher knows that, and in most cases, is thrilledto be the person whos giving you all that material andhelping you put it together. Remember, teachers arepeople, too, and they feel great if youre open to whattheyre teaching you. Thats why they wanted to beteachers in the first place to teach!

Sure, its goodto get along with your

teacher because itmakes your time inthe classroom more

pleasant.

What Does Getting Along Mean?

Getting along means you and your teacherhave a way of communicating that works forboth of you and you both are getting whatyou need from the relationship. From yourteachers perspective, he or she wants to makesure you are paying attention, being respectfuland polite, and trying your best to learn.

From your perspective, you want a teacherwho is respectful to you, answers yourquestions, and tries to help you learn.

In every school, kids will say certain teachersare mean or tough, but dont judge a teacheruntil you are in his or her class and can see foryourself. In the majority of cases, your teacheris on your side. And a teacher whos calledtough may be someone who feels stronglyabout getting his or her job done teachingyou the subject you are supposed to learn.

Its also important to remember that makingmistakes is a part of learning. By pointing out

your errors and helping you correct them, ateacher is teaching you.

about knew God and some didnot know God. Jesus talked andate with them. He visited themin their homes. He shared stories

with them, making some men ofthe temple confused.

One dayJesus heard these men talking. Theysaid, Why does Jesus spend time with people whodo not know God? To help the men understand,Jesus told this story.

Once therewas a good shepherd. He had100 sheep. Each morning he led them out into thepasture. All day the shepherd stayed with his flockand watched over them. If any wild animals tried tohurt them, he protected his sheep.

Every evening, the shepherd led the flockback to the pen. As they entered the pen he countedthem. This was to make sure that none of his sheepwas lost. One evening he counted 99 sheep. One was

missing. The good shepherd counted the sheep

one more time. The good shepherd called for thelost sheep that knew his voice. The good shepherdwalked back to the pasture, looked around by therocks, the bushed along the bank of the stream. Butit was not there. The good shepherd kept looking.He did not give up.

Whenhe found the lost sheep, the shepherdshouted with joy, comforted the little sheep andlifted it onto his shoulders and carried it back tothe pen.

The good shepherd was very happy. He calledall his neighbors together for a party. Share myhappiness, he said. One of my sheep was lost,and I found it. It is safe.

When Jesus finished telling this story, he said,The same is true with all Gods people. A personwho gets lost from God and is found makes Godvery happy.

PreparacinPreparation:

Agrega el aguahirviendo a la mezclade gelatina y al azcar

combinndolos en un taznmediano, revolviendo durante 2minutos, hasta que la gelatina sedisuelva por completo. Agrega el
