With 20 nominations, including 2 business nominations there were lots of lovely gardens adding curb appeal to the streets and rural roads of Tay. Favorites in the Garden Achillea “Moonshine” Non-spreading Yarrow Lacy grey foliage Flat flower clusters Blooms June - October Drought tolerant Full sun Clematis Grow with the top in full sun and the roots in the shade. FIGHT THE PHRAG! Phragmites is an invasive plant threatening recreation and wildlife habitat along Tay township’s shoreline. Tay township in conjuction with Georgian Bay Forever hosted a Phragmites cutting training session on July 21st. Beginning Monday July 25th the Township will begin to tackle Cutting Projects at local waterfront parks.
