New items complete with trim ring or "eyelid" shade. The stand-out feature of the Panda Maxi light fixtures is the option of applying a practical eyelid shade to the lens – allowing you to exploit its lighting power to the full – or fitting it with a trim ring. Both cover the side cable entries and give the fixture a more elegant look. The ceiling light fixtures now come in the standard version or in the new version, which comes ready fitted with the eyelid shade or trim ring. This makes the job of choosing fixtures with the eyelid shade or trim ring that much easier since the two products (light fixture + accessory) are sold ready assembled under a single ID number. If you don't have any special installation needs, you can still purchase the standard version of the fixtures. The Panda Maxi fixtures can be used with energy-saving incandescent bulbs (max. 100W) or fluorescent bulbs (max. 25W, 165 mm in length, E27 fitting). They are particularly suited to domestic, commercial and industrial settings, both interiors and exteriors, as individual light fixtures or as a series. The Panda Maxi fixtures feature an opaque lens for even light diffusion and as an anti-glare feature, along with a highly reflective metal diffuser plate and a mounting base made from UV- and heat-resistant thermoplastic. The fixtures have a protection rating of IP65 and insulation rating of II. They are manufactured to standards EN 60598-1 and EN 60598-2-1 and can also be installed on flammable surfaces as they are made with flame-retardant, fire-resistant material in compliance with standard IEC 695-2-11 (Glow-Wire Test). The high mechanical impact strength bears testimony to the quality of the product. Ceiling light fixtures, shades and rings come in a choice of white, black or metallic grey. The whole range is guaranteed by the ENEC03 quality mark, bears CE marking and is in line with the WEEE and RoHS directives. All Panda-series ceiling light fixtures are Italian made and come with the peace of mind offered by Fanton, a UNI EN ISO 9001-2008 certified company.
