• His initial season at Brescia, Page was named NAIA Division I Women’s Independent
Coach of the Year after leading them to a 20-14 record and tourney berth. The Bearcats
upset top-seeded Lee University in the opening round to advance to the Sweet Sixteen.
This win was the first No. 8 seed victory over a top seed in NAIA National Tournament his-
tory. Page took the Bearcats too the NAIA Tournament again in 2007-08 with a 18-13
record.
• During his time in the Division I level, he recruited three conference freshman of the year
• Starting in the 2012 season, Tincher aided Newberry to winning
seasons all three seasons to follow; including a SAC Champion-
ship and NCAA Division II appearance in 2015
• During that time, the Wolves committed the fewest turnovers in
the SAC while being ranked 28th nationally in scoring defense.
Meg Essex finished the season 11th in Division II with 2.73
blocked shots per game.
• Tincher’s first season back came in the 2016 season, when New-
berry clinched the No. 5 seed in the South Atlantic Conference
Tournament with a 18-9 overall record and 14-8 conference re-
cord.

versity as a forward/center.
• MVP senior season, led the team in rebounds,
was a part of their 2001 run to the NCAA Divi-
sion II Sweet 16, played in 97 of 115 games
