Volunteering exposes students to new career possibilities, encourages them to think sympathetically about others, and thus improves their character and social behavior (Cawthorn).
3. What is Volunteering?
Volunteering is the practice of people working on the behalf of others without being motivated by financial or material gain.
A person who undertakes or expresses a willingness to undertake a service.

Help others and give back to your community.
Find a possible career path.
Learn about yourself.
Acquire valuable work experience..

High schools are requiring students to complete a minimum of 60 hours.
Universities are requiring students to complete a minimum of 100 hours (CMU).

All universities have made volunteering mandatory in order to graduate.
Mostly all high schools required volunteer hours before they can receive their diploma
Employers are hiring more employees based on their community involvement.
