• Thailand officially the Kingdom of Thailand, formerly known as Siam is a country in Southeast Asia. The capital and largest city is Bangkok, which is Thailand's political,

commercial, industrial, and cultural hub.

67,200,000.

• Thailand had an urban population of 45.7% as of 2010

concentrated mostly in and around the Bangkok Metropolitan Area.

• Thai automotive industry was the largest in Southeast Asia and the 9th largest in the world.

• The Thailand industry has an annual output of near 1.5 million vehicles, mostly commercial vehicles.

beautiful caves, aquatic grottoes and limestone islands. The most famous island in the bay is a SEA STACK called Ko Ping Kan (more commonly known as James Bond Island) which was featured in the James Bond movie “The Man with the Golden Gun.

Ko Phi

• Ko Phi Phi Don is the largest island of the group, and is the only island with permanent inhabitants while the smaller Ko Phi Phi Leh is very popular as a beach or dive excursion.
