Introduction to facilities in LAB
• AMS Lab History: The laboratory is established in MED.
The AMS lab is HEC funded project.
The project cost is about Rs. 35.11 Millions.
The project started from Dec,2003 & completed in 2005.
• OBJECTIVE: To provide a high quality laboratory experience for graduate and
undergraduate students.
To embellish the laboratory experience or content of any other ME course
where exposure to CIM technology is advantageous.
To assist and support the design, manufacture, testing of products and
components for design oriented projects related to Rapid Prototyping
System.
Via the Advance Manufacturing System Lab (AMS Lab), to provide
assistance, training and technology transfer to Development Organizations.
• VISION: To provide educational services to other institutions and
organizations in the country.
To aid and support Mechanical Engineering Department faculty,
student’s research and Technical Services to the public & private
industrial sector.
