• Nebraska is the only team in the nation with ranked wrestlers in all 10 weight classes in this week’s InterMat poll. Previously unranked Huskers Tyler Berger (157) and Micah Barnes (174) are each making their first appearance in the InterMat rankings this week.

No. 10 Nebraska opened its dual season in dominating fashion with wins over Lock Haven, No. 20 Oregon State and No. 7 Lehigh in the Journeymen/Asics Northeast Duals at Hudson Valley Community College on Nov. 15. The Huskers outscored their three opponents by a combined score of 90-12, winning 26 of 30 individual matches. NU earned its first shutout since Nov. 30, 2013 (CSU-Bakersfield, 42-0) when the Huskers crushed Lock Haven, 41-0, in the first dual of the day.

Daktronics Open • Brookings, S.D. • Nov. 1 Nebraska won six weight class titles in the Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open at Frost Arena on Nov. 1. A total of 13 Husker wrestlers earned spots on the podium at the tournament. No. 12 Eric Montoya (133), No. 6 Jake Sueflohn (149), Tyler Berger (157), Dustin Williams (165) and Micah Barnes (174) each won weight class crowns, while No. 12 Tim Lambert and Kris Williams (unattached) shared the 125-pound title.
Harold Nichols Cyclone Open • Ames, Iowa • Nov. 15 Patrick Grayson (HWT) and Regan Bye (165), each wrestling unattached, collected top-six finishes in the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open at Hilton Coliseum on Nov. 15. Grayson went 3-2 with one major decision en route to a fifth-place finish. Bye tallied a 2-3 mark to finish sixth in the tournament. Additional Huskers to compete included Brian Peska (133), Eric Coufal (133), Aris Shino (141), Collin Purinton (141 – unattached), Jordan Shearer (141 – unattached), Justin Arthur (149 – unattached), Tyrell Galloway (149) and Jake Anderson (184).
