1.15 GROUND AND FLIGHT INSPECTION PERIODICITY
1.15.2 The suggested periodicities are given as generalguidance and may be modified based on the manufacturer’srecommendation or operational experience.
In some cases, it may be necessary to carry out morefrequent inspections, e.g. following initial installation. It mayalso be reasonable to extend the inspection intervals in somecircumstances, if the factors outlined in this section havebeen taken into account.
It is recommended that States have a documented procedurefor determining and changing the test/inspection interval.

CNS Service provider shall fulfill the following requirements during the Approval of the extension.
1) Continue in conducting the maintenance activities according to the maintenance plan for thefacility and recording the test results as well as monitoring the readings of critical parameters toindicate that the equipment consistently meets performance requirements.
2) Submit the following reports/results to Authority as a reference to review and evaluate theperformance of the facility during the approved flight inspection extension period:
a. Submit the daily/weekly maintenance activities conducted for OOMS ILS and OOSA ILS on aweekly basis.
b. Submit the ground inspection results and the monthly maintenance activities conducted forOOMS ILS and OOSA ILS on a monthly basis.
3) Extend/reissue a NOTAM stating that the status of the facility as:“[Facility Name] operating but ground checked only, awaiting flight Check”,
TAKE NOTEyou may be requested to stop the service if non-compliance with the regulatoryrequirements is observed during the approved extension period of the flight inspection.

Due to COVID19 pandemic and the restrictions followed,NAV AIDs flight inspections were cancelled.
However, NAV AIDs equipment were still needed becauseuninterrupted military, humanitarian and support flights(repatriation, cargo and medical).
The Four ILSs at OOMS and OOSA Airports were stillproviding navigational service without flight Inspection.

profile) was conducted on bothTransmitter for each runway.
F.I. Aircraft started at 12NM 3300ftand followed the ILS procedure tothe runway.
both Runway 07 and 25, bothtransmitters showed satisfactoryresults for the measured parameters
