Managers engaged in the profession of Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, Labour Welfare, Training and HRD in the country. It came into existence in March 1980 as a result of a merger of two professional institutions, namely the Indian Institute of Personal Management (IIPM) established in 1948 in Kolkata and the National Institute of Labour Management (NILM) established in 1950 in Bombay, now Mumbai With its National Head Quarter at Kolkata, NIPM has a total membership of more than 11,000 spread over 52 chapters all across the country. NIPM is a non-profit making body devoted to the development of skill and expertise of professionals engaged in the management of human resources through regular lectures, meetings. seminars, training courses, conferences and publication in its chapters all over the country. NIPM Mumbai Chapter is organising a Regional Conference titled” Digitization- The HR perspective”We are looking forward for participation from all HR I ER I IR I OD/ L&D professionals and practitioners.

This conference is organized to understand changing role of HR and L&D Heads in the next decade in the wake of large scale governmental promotion of Digitization followed by change in tools, techniques and technology used by Human Resource Professionals with Enterprizes seeking diversifications through startups, mergers and acquisitions globally and changing scenario of industrial jurisprudence & help HR Practitioners with solutions to cope up with changing situation and join process of change which will help business organizations and indirectly the Nation which is on threshold of all round developments.

All are well aware that NIPM Mumbai Chapter is registered under Societies Act and it is No profit No loss entity. All the proceeds received through membership fees are spent on Staff Salaries, Maintenance cost, publications, monthly training programs, contact expenses etc. To keep this august institution alive and update knowledge of members every year we organize 2 to 3 free conferences and 2 paid conferences. Money received is used to meet the cost of organizing free conferences. Events like memorial lecture, monthly discourses and lecture, DPM examination administrative expenses, Scholarships and free ships to students, lodging, boarding and conveyance expenses of speakers and media publicity, We have invited speakers who are luminaries In the field of Human Resources, Industrial Relations and Organizational Development to guide us. At the conference. we want to initiate a dialogue on the changing business landscape and the role of the HR professionals in the coming years.

To share the knowledge in conferences we charge nominal fees to delegates . In order to meet huge expenses of conference, normally donors from industries and corporate houses come forward to help us by becoming our prestigious event partners or through advertisement in souvenir published on occasion of conference or by setting up stalls in exhibition outside venue. In return esteemed patrons receive access to delegates who are normally CHRO’s. HR Directors etc of MNC’s and Indian business organizations and will boost their business. The donors will also receive immense satisfaction of generosity for right cause.
