My Constituency App for iPads v1.0

Developed by the House of Commons Library to supply statistics such as unemployment, youth unemployment, and population in each of the 650 UK constituencies- in an easy to read format.

MPs are target audience but researchersand general public will also be able to download and view on their iPads. The app will be free to download from the Apple iTunes Store. iPad only for v1.0.

Constituency datasetsThe information was only on the parliamentary intranet (the old Library intranet). Uses publicly available data from ONS and Dept for Work and Pensions, but tailored for 650 UK constituencies. http://hcl1.hclibrary.parliament.uk/sections/Stats/profiles/btf/profile.asp

The data only seen by those with the Parliamentary intranet or by ringing or emailing a research specialist. Cannot compare datasets and some information only available via downloadable Excel spreadsheets.
